Bed Bath & Beyond's website for Canada is a parked page now with a notice about store closures. For those you near a store, check what's on offer.https://www.bedbathandbeyond.ca/

I was last able to see the regular website on Wednesday.

Indigo has posted an update-online books are back. Here's the link to the update because current and former employees are going to be notified about the data breach (maybe I'll get mail too?). https://www.chapters.indigo.ca/pages/faqs

Speaking of CAA's (caasco.com site) list of Shopping partners-I get a huge red 403 Forbidden message when I tried to access the shopping details for Carter's Osh Kosh B-gosh (guess no more partnership?).https://www.caasco.com/rewards/partners/shopping

CAA now offers digital pink insurance slips!https://www.caainsurancecompany.com/...insurance-card

And there's a TurboTax offer through CAA too:https://portal.caarewards.ca/sco/par...020.1677267708

Finished up a box of old chocolates and was tearing down the box to put in the trash. I lifted up the plastic tray that divides the candy and found a couple of old dead insects. Some kind of beetle, I think. Of course, I only find them after we had consumed the entire box of chocolates.

What that old saying, "Q: What is worse than finding a worm in your apple? A: Half a worm."

    Good Morning Everyone,
Trying to find my ambition in this cup of tea I am drinking. It is that kind of morning. I just want to curl up under a blanket on the couch. It does not help that it is snowing again which just adds to my let's curl up on the couch.

But, my house needs some attention.

I got all of the bedding and couch blankets washed yesterday. I still need to clean up and vacuum the couch, the couch has become my office where I keep everything I am working on which includes all of my notebooks. Originally, I was going to try to scale back my notebooks but somehow I have added more. I am trying to be super organized to stay on top of everything, I am organized but there just are not enough hours in the day. But, I know this is just a season I need to get through, once this upgrade goes live, things should calm down a little.

I still need to go and dig the cars out, I will be honest, I put it off. I was going to do it on Thursday but then they were calling for freezing rain so I did not clean the cars off. Then yesterday I just did not want to go outside. But today, today is the day I have to clean off the cars.

Today is just one of those days where the is so much to get done but my ambition does not match.

    Happy Saturday
2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Good day fellow thread dwellers! Snowing again today was coming down at a good click so decided it must be time to post again. To be honest the only reason I said that is because the last time I posted here we were being inundated with snow.If posting kept away snow I'd be here more often! Jk
Fed up with PCO as still haven't got a reply for my missing points(it will be two weeks tomorrow) I also did a follow up which according to their auto reply would be answered by their team of chain smoking chimps in two days(just like the first auto reply). To be honest I'm starting to think it's not worth the aggravation.
I must say that I'm impressed at the deals others here post, especially those excellent discounts that are a result of being in the right place at the right time.
Timing is indeed the name of the game.Speaking of timing I still haven't switched my heating over to gas.I'm pretty much sold on it until I realised that Enbridge was the only source here in the Shwa. and they don't have a stellar reputation. DW is nicer than me so still a possibility.
Stay safe and warm in whatever you're up to today my friends.Blessings to you and yours!
Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

I think that you are right to worry about the US possibly shutting down Enbridge Line 5.

Well the snow is on its way……. Apparently up to 35-35cm. Most likely that’s further out in the valley but who knows. I think I prepared my garden well enough but only time will tell. Mason jars over the individual garlics, and Rubbermaid containers over my tulips and gently covered by the frost barrier. Depending on what t8me it starts I’ll check on it and remove snow if needed. I hope it works. I spent so much time and $ on it and I’d hate to see it wasted. Positive thoughts.

3 loads of laundry done and 2 more to go. Bedding will have to wait until tomorrow. Kitchen cleaned (more of a light tidy was all that was needed), oven cleaned. Minor shop this morning (I need more sweet potatoes! ), grabbed a bougie coffee today (I’m trying to limit my Starbucks but it’s hard on my days off).

The rest of the day plans are my yoga classes (most likely 3 possibly 4), vacuuming with a super light dusting. Everything’s spring cleaned so it’s just super light stuff.

Laundry beeped so time to switch loads.

    Have a great day everyone.

February break is coming to an end in SK. We booked a family vacation in our province. We paid for 3 nights in a nice hotel and had the 4th night free with their promotion. They were 45min late…the room wasn’t ready for us to check in, so I was happy to see a complimentary 10% discount for the delay.

We packed some food, picked other items up at Safeway, and ate out for one meal a day. Also used some points and gift cards to pay for certain items.

We’re mostly unpacked and settling in at the house. I drive back to the rental house tomorrow. Everyone heads back to work on Monday.

I just put up my feet and checked my personal emails. I just won a $20 gift card from the public library for the reading book bingo that I participated in. I get to choose the local business that I get the gift card to.
Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money

    It has been a day.

This morning I made Banana Muffins and started to tidy up the couch, better known as my office. Did a load of Microfibre cloths, I am bad for throwing them with regular laundry and using fabric softener so I bought more and set up a system in the basement so not I can now I can wash them biweekly in their own load.

Then I headed out to dig out the cars, it wasn't as bad as I expected but Mom's car was stuck and I could not get it out. Thankfully a couple of guys helps me and I got it out but I was frustrated and freaking out because I did everything I could think of and could not get the car out. Once I got it out I kind of emotionally crashed for a bit.

This afternoon I cleaned out the fridge, I do not know why but I thought there was quite a bit that needed to go but when I got to it there was just some leftover Guacamole some cut-up green onion and a little bit of half & half did not get used up. I cut up a pineapple that is in the fridge for the week to come. Once that was done I took out the garbage.

Mom did the hand dishes since I had to dig out the cars alone, she has planned to do her own but she is in a lot of pain today and her hip is really acting up. She still offered to help but I was worried she might go down with her hip so said she could do the dishes I would deal with the cars.

I tweaked my back a little trying to get Mom's car out so we had take-out for dinner. I was surprised to see I would save $13 just by picking it up so that is what I did. Part of my new budget is I do have some $$$ set aside for take-out but I will still have carry-over which makes me happy. I tend to move the take-out $$$ to groceries if needed.

I am super tired now, I want to work on my bullet journal but may just curl up on the watch and watch a movie instead.
