Twin boy had some tests run on him and an IV with antibiotics and fluids. They took twin boy for an emergency ambulance ride to a larger hospital. Dh went with him. I packed stuff at the house and took our other children with me. Fortunately a relative was able to give us a place to sleep for the night. Dh is spending the night at the hospital with twin boy. He’s still not doing well, but some worse things have been tentatively ruled out. Time for me to catch some sleep…it’s 2am here.

@Angela273 please let us all know the latest update on DS. I suppose being driven by ambulance to a larger hospital meant they have better care equipment? It's pins and needles when any of our kids get ill. You need peace of mind with the diagnosis and treatment that fixes any problems. (((hugs )))

Good Morning Everyone,
Slow morning here today.

Help Bro & Sis-in-Law move yesterday it was an adventure. Luckily the guys in our family all have experiencing loading and securing loads as we had a lot of heavy furniture to load and move. Originally they thought they were moving before Christmas and have been accumulating things for the move. It took two run with the truck plus I think 7 cars, trucks, SUVs we loaded up. Everything is moved and now they just need to set up their new house.

I have a massive headache today, I think it is from the heat yesterday and I do not think I drank enough water, my own fault.

I did not want to get out of bed this morning, it was just comfy and cozy but I am up now and trying to convince myself to get all the things done. I need to tidy up my fridge, there were a few things that needed to go in the freezer that Mom did yesterday well I was out but now I need to see what needs to be used up. I need to write a meal plan for the week and plan some lunches.

If I am being honest, I am kind of not looking forward to this week. There is a lot going on this week, plus there are some things I need to do this week that I have no idea when I am going to do them. I dislike weeks like this where there is always something going on because I know it will be a long week and I know I will fall behind.

The paediatric specialist said he does not have meningitis. It’s a bad sinus and ear infection combined. He's responding well to the IV antibiotics. He’s being released today with oral antibiotics and we were told what to watch for in case anything gets worse.

I reconnected with a family member that has been out of my life for 8 years ,it made me happy.I hope the future with him will better and brighter.Sometimes we have to learn to forgive to move on .

I reconnected with a family member that has been out of my life for 8 years ,it made me happy.I hope the future with him will better and brighter.Sometimes we have to learn to forgive to move on .

ds2 and I went to the Niagara Falls NY today as I still had some gift cards and now I had some birthday rewards. It’s honestly not as much fun as it used to be but that’s because I just don’t shop. So I spent my kohl’s gift card on some new towels. But that still made my day. Target was hair products and food and that stuff excites me. Then 5 Guys for lunch which we both love but never go to because it’s so expensive. No issues at the border and in fact it was a short line in both directions so that was nice.

What great news! I mean better than meningitis. The antibiotics will fix him up in no time!! Whew!!

Good Morning! A beautiful sunny start to the day.

Recycling has already been picked up so can put the cart away. Just enjoying my coffee to wake up.
Yard waste is suppose to be picked up this week so will get that to the curb today. Have a tarp ready in the garage if it looks like rain to cover it.
Still raking to do but will get a bit done each day. Can drop off yard waste at the dump if needed.

Yesterday I bbq'd chicken breast (3 pack for $5 at GT) and steak (from freezer). Had some chicken on salad for late lunch. Steak was dinner.
We still have lots of chicken breast left for today. I will pick up wraps for chicken ceaser wraps since we have all that is needed for that.

Groceries- I think I did well. Seems that fresh stuff was on sale and looking good. I picked up romaine, spinach, cucumbers, avocados, cantalope and a few other things. Healthy eating will be easy this week.

Costco- I only spent around $55 on Saturday. I bought 2 bags of coffee beans, 4pk English muffins, a 3pk tank tops and baseball cap (for me).
Plus I filled up gas tank since it was 10 cents L cheaper then my travels.

Sat night had dinner out with a friend but used a GC I bought months ago (received PC PTs on it) Still have a balance on it towards next time.

No big spending lately which is nice. Lots of stuff on the house to do list this week so will be working away on that this week.
Then planning a little road trip hopefully next week can get away
