Good Morning Everyone,
Thank you for the nice comments. I did spend yesterday on the couch binge-watching Brothers & Sisters and catching up on the work I did not get done on Friday. The nice thing was with no distractions I got it done in about half the time it would have taken me on a work day. I do still have one thing I have to have done for Monday morning but someone else needs to do their part first so hoping that comes through soon.
I spent some time with pen and paper last night laying out all of the things I need to get done. There is something about pen and paper, don't get me wrong I love typing and making documents that way but something about pen and paper sometimes just makes things flow for me.
I see it, I am falling back into old habits again. Work has become insane again (oh how I love summer) and now I work all week and come the weekend I have no ambition. I am trying to figure out how I can keep on top of the day-to-day at work (3 new trainees) plus my projects and not work 500 hours a week. I know there is a way to make this work but by nature, I am an all-or-nothing type of girl. I have projects and I just want to get them done and it becomes my obsession.
Probably does not help, we are doing reviews, let me tell you I hate the self-review. I am my own worst critic who tends to focus on the negative so this whole process is hard for me.
Time to stop focusing on all those things and focus on other things I need to get done today.
Happy Sunday2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,
follow along as tackle day to day life and whatever else 2021 throws at me:

I’m an old fashioned pen and paper kinda gal too @SassyAshley . Something about writing a list and crossing things off is oddly satisfying. Sometimes I’ll even write a list AFTER a ton of things have been accomplished and then cross them off

Ran to SOF this morning to get my cold brew raincheck used and a few other things.
Saved $13.69 got a free Violife vegan cheese WUB becel ( on sale). That was the highlights. Everything was on sale except for the onions and yams.
Now having oatmeal with my cold brew so I’m happy.
Garden watering and a bike ride later this afternoon when it cools off a tad. It’s supposed to be another hot day here. Stay cool everyone.

For the first time in months I organized my coupons and posted pictures of them for trade.
I have been picking up snacks for school lunches, trying to get good deals stocked up while I’m home.
Tofat we went to Sobeys and made our quite well. $94 oop, $25+ earned in points, used $14 in coupons, $3 CO51, $1.99 Scoped salad kit.
3 of the following 4x $2.49 Quaker chewy granola bars - $1 coupon tear pads + 500pts wub4 = $0.24 per box. I used the 12 coupons that I found a couple months ago, so I’m trying to trade for more. These coupons are also good on rolled oats that I use in baking.
I also have a jar of sprouts growing in the kitchen window. Yummy.
My kids are asking to have a garage sale, so they can make some money. They now have boxes to put their stuff in and get things organized. We keep being under air quality advisories from the Alberta forest fires, which will influence the potential garage sale date.Last edited by Angela273; Sun, Jul 16th, 2023 at 11:26 PM.

Regarding Amazon prime deliveries to my community. I ordered something on July 12 and delivery is expected on July 19. I ordered a toy on July 15 and delivery is expected on July 24.
My kids start swimming lessons today, daily Mon-Fri for the next two weeks. I had booked their swimming lessons to start 5min apart, but in June I received a call informing me that there weren’t enough students in Ds’ class, so they moved him to a start time 1hr later. It’ll work, but it certainly won’t be convenient to spend about 2hrs a day at the pool.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money

Went for coffee at the docks this morning. I try and get down there to clear my mind and its a great way to start the day.
Stopped at the bank for a deposit. Then SDM (redeemed for 3 bags of cheetos using FPC and ticked off a Spend $15 promo get PC pts.)
Then FB for Strawberries and nectarines. Just made breakfast and now will clean the kitchen. Then off to the garage!

Did a 18.5km ride yesterday with Dh. Ya it’s the longest yet but still easy except for the stinking massive hill up to our place
.
We hit up NF yesterday for a total of $71.37 and $1.37 oop after points redeemed. All done now except for a water filter. Our zero water filter has a crack in it and it’s getting bigger.
Much cooler today by like 10+ degrees. I’m freezing in comparison.
Have a great day everyone.

@harbie Grrrr! I hate stinking massive hills too! Although..... logic tells me it must be lovely fast downhill ride when you start out from your place.
Just being a " glass half full " PITA to you now.....Have a great week!!
I've been assigned a new set of stretching exercises from the chiropractor this morning, they are add-ons, so not like I can omit the ones from the first week.
This is going top hurt me more than her!

@lilo0003 Congrats on your purchase! Yes, it will be crazy but in the end you will be closer to your brother so it will all be worth it. How exciting for you.

@harbie I too use lists, and love my daytimer! My friends use there electronic devices and miss things, etc. With a written daytimer I can even procrastinate, by writing in for another day.
