    Good Afternoon Everyone,
Just got in from work, we were on inventory this morning. Normally in the past the earliest we have gotten out has been between 2 to 3 so feel like I gained an afternoon. Now to decide, should I be a productive person and knock out all the things or curl up on the couch and watch movies. Only time will tell.

Right now I am fighting a bit of a headache but it is in my neck and shoulder, trying to stretch it out and hope it goes away.

Now to figure out dinner, I had planned to pick up pizza on my way home as a treat but always thought I would be getting home much later. Now that I am home will shift and cook instead. Maybe Dumplings and Chicken Fried Rice, feel like Take-Out but made at home.

    Happy Saturday Everyone.

Well my big plans to wrap everything have gone out the window. Just not feeling it today. (maybe because it is plus 11 out and our snow has disappeared?)

I popped out to CT and SDM and then decided it was too busy out for me. Came home and chatted with DS for a bit and then cleaned my new office space.
We are setting up my desk this weekend and then I can set it up and unpackage my new printer/scanner and hopefully IT can have that up and running by the end of the day on Monday. Can't wait till I am set up in there so I can move my office space from the dining room and then that room will be nice and clean

    Good Morning Everyone,
Doing my best to be productive today but I will admit, I don't want to LOL. I am not sure why but I am super tired today.

I finally sorted the pile of clothes that have been living in my basement, I sorted them into Textile Recycling, Donate/Post, Try-on/Keep. I have a full bag for textile recycling and quite a few pieces I need to try on as they will move to the Donate/Post pile.

I also emptied all of the bags that were living in the Stockpile room, they are on my freezer waiting to be put away. But first I need something to eat.

I also edited a video, I have been putting some much into work going into inventory but time to refind my balance.

Yesterday I spent a good chunk of the afternoon working as the person who oversees the plants was questioning some of their outages. Then I caught up on my bullet journal and started working on my budget. I am super behind, I still had not closed October or even set up November. I closed October last night and started to set up November but I know once I get tired it is time to stop or I will make mistakes.

I spent more on Groceries in October than I thought but, stayed on budget. Pretty sure I am under budget in November as I was hoping to have some carry-over for December to buy some treats for during our shutdown.

    Happy Sunday Everyone.

I'm also avoiding doing what I should be doing today, which is heading out to top up the produce and a couple small things necessary for the guys work meals this week.
On the productive side I DID make up a lovely colourful beef/bell pepper stir fry. Not sure if I'll bother making a carb ( rice or noodles ) to go with it. I'll wait and see what
the guys want to have with it.
    Enjoy the Sunday sunshine all!

I'm sorting piles of clothing, too. I keep an ever-growing bag for rags and throw in anything that seems absorbent for painting purposes.

    Good Morning Everyone,
Up and getting this Monday started.

I have a few things I need to accomplish this week but hoping to focus on prepping for 2024.

I did not go back the basement yesterday, Mom got up and we had something to eat and then we packaged the meats I bought at Costco, it was a small meat shop, I just got Chicken Wings, Hot Dogs and Sausages. I am super picky about Sausages because like an Italian Sausage I cannot eat but we found some at Costco we like and they add another Dinner option. Those are all packaged and in the freezer.

Today I will need to finish my Pantry Tidy I did not get done yesterday. Shouldn't be too bad looking at it, it should be quick and simple.

We also have the age old question, what is for dinner. Saturday we did make Dumplings and Fried Rice and last night we had Meatloaf with Mac & Cheese. Tonight is a mystery so far. Maybe Pork Chops, I feel like we have not had Pork Chops in awhile.

    Happy Monday Everyone.

Good morning frugal shoppers! I'll post this silly meme for you first @SassyAshley . I admire the
way you break down the meat you buy into more manageable portions for the freezer. Some days
I'm exhausted when I get back from shopping, toss the large tray into the freezer and regret it
when it comes time to make " something for dinner".

Yesterday DH and I walked around a Mall hoping to find a few small, inexpensive gifts.
You know, those things you never know you need until they catch your eye?
These are just to have some extra fun on Christmas Eve when as a family we open up
all our gifts at 1 minute past midnight.
( makes the a.m. of the 25th easier to navigate for me, as I'm cooking )

This year we have 2 special sleepover guests! ( my Sis and Bil ). I've nailed it with funny
but useful things for them. My rule is the gift must be either edible ( and no I don't mean
actual EDIBLES, lol ) or things that get used up and then are gone. No nick knacky stuff.
@Lynn49 what do you call that....chatchky?

There are going to be 3 here with December birthdays, which will involve a joint add-on
celebration! Can 3 names fit on one cake? The number of candles will be more of a concern.
    75 + 71 + 36 = OMG! call the Fire Department.

    Good Morning and Happy Monday!!!

I am feeling great today workwise. Have stuff to get done this week but I am not stressed at all!
Friday was my 1st day working from home 100%. It's weird and nice at the same time.

Shopping- Our freezers are full and a mess. I need to pick a day this week and empty the upright freezer and defrost it (I paid $50 for it years ago and it is great so I will not complain about having to defrost it ) Then I can take inventory and organize it. It needs to be done ASAP as it is driving me crazy.

Today- Will just worry about keeping the kitchen clean and head to the gym later today. This is a must for me on a Monday. If I go Monday it sets me up great for the week.

    Have a wonderful day everyone!
