Well since i had a special birthday 65 last month -we dont buy for each other havent in years .I really need clothing all of mine are baggy.So i spent $89 at cleos online this morning got 2 more of the button down blouses( i bought the white one in store last week) 2 peasant long sleeve blouses and a stretch belt.So happy

Two of the tops i cant return -final sale so i hope they fit if not i will just give them to my sister-in-law.

I love cleos clothing but cant afford the regular prices but a blouse for 14.77-yes sure can .

Morning! I see sunshine with lots of clouds.
I didn't end up going outside at all yesterday.
Was busy with work all day long and didn't pop out for a break so hopefully today I will.

Laundry didn't get touched either so today is the day.

Fridge is looking empty of leftovers so will have to figure out what dinner will be. Thinking simple chicken, potatoes/rice and veggie. Will go take a look in the freezer and see what inspires me. Oh will make extra chicken so we can make chicken quesidias tomorrow night for dinner to use up the wraps.

Last night I really wanted something sweet- this is the reason I don't buy stuff because then I will eat it at night lol.
We had one apple left so I cut it up and dipped it in almond butter. Yum! Then I had a bowl of cut up melon. Did the trick!
Didn't eat much yesterday and then I am hungry at night...will make sure to eat today!

My hubbys brothers wife just gave me a bunch of tops to keep -i went thru them and found 12 tops .So that was nice -i wasnt here to thank her ,so i will call her.

I had to wait an hour for my pills today (unreal) at rexall but did get some attitude shower gel on clearance for 3.24 each .

Stopped at a local thrift store to donate clothing -they dont charge tax which is nice.

Then stopped at sobeys to get a salad ,sour dough loaf and 3 kelloggs raisin bran on for 2/8.00-4.00 each -2.00 each on checkout51=2.00 a box

Drives me crazy when 2nd hand shops charge HST!!! Same with used cars! Government just keeps getting money on the same item being re-sold!

Let's see if my post posts, as yesterday the forum did not let me despite logging in.

Made apple berry coffee cake yesterday to use some small apples that were changing. Rest of apples were peeled and chopped and tossed with lemon juice. Likely compote base for today.

Rain yesterday was apppreciated. Had strong wind gusts just as first drops were falling.

Dollar Tree's votive candle holders are in the craft and automotive aisle, not the glassware aisle. Plenty of styles- found a clear holder with iridescent coating for $1.50. There is a lovely coppery tone holder with golden maple leaves and little golden cord that caught my eye.

Ciel, how true i was very happy with the prices of cleo ,plus it is around the corner from me if i need to return .I really hate when they state final sale but i only bought 2 items and if they dont fit me i can give them to sister-in-law who gave me 8 tops the other day.

The remaining tops that dont fit me i will take to my 75 year old sister-in-law (my older brother who passed away his wife)Pass the clothing around .

I had to cancel my dentist appt next week and rebook oct 29 th now ,as i am still coughing a bit and mucus-ahhh grandkids that give me half the sickness i deal with .Still love them thou.

It was a beautiful fall day, definitely on the cool side and yet I still managed to harvest another few zucchini’s. I need to pick up a few baking supplies so I think I will get nuts as I like nuts in my zucchini loaf. The butternut squash are looking good. I can’t wait to harvest them and will store them in my cold room until we come back in January.

Good Morning Everyone,
Where oh where has this week gone?????

I feel like I have been a little off this week, just not feeling myself but not sure why.

Yesterday Mom had coffee with a friend which was great, so many of friends have pulled away and one even told her she isn't fun anymore , she decided she could not take herself so I went with her and worked well she socialized. I think it went well but once we got home the pain hit so she slept most of the evening which worked for me because I had to work last night.

Yesterday we had some oddity pop up so it was going to take 13 steps to correct it and 9 were assigned to me so I got that done. Plus I had to prep for some paperwork I have to do today. The person who currently does it is retiring so I am learning but this shipment was supposed to ship Tuesday but due to the strike it got moved to today which does not really work with my schedule, so I am a little stressed. The paperwork I got, it is the timeline.

Because I am probably going to have to work late tonight to get this paperwork done I ran to No Frills this morning because I wanted to take advantage of Classic Sauces, they are on sale for $3 and you get back 1000 pts which equals a $1. I got the Alfredo I was looking for but they did not have any of our favourite Pasta Sauce. I will check again later in the week but not hopeful, our store tends to sell out of sale items. If I go right at 8 I can be in and home in half an hour which is ideal for today's schedule.

I also grabbed, Mushrooms, Cucumbers, Raspberries, Pineapple, Broccoli, Sour Cream, Perogies, Chicken Tenders (might need these for dinner tonight), whole wheat flour.

Might go to a few other stores but we will see if it happens, although Mom did ask me to go to Wal-Mart for her so need to fit that in.

@SassyAshley : I am so sorry to read that your dear mother have less friends now than before her pain and that some friends rejected her.

I sure does know that awfull feeling...

Since I am physically sick and in pain and mental illness my friends and familly ignore me....I am me too not fun anymore apparently.


It is like having pain and illness is a great reason for them to put a distance.

Hubby and i cut the front and back lawn today ,city came to trim the city tree end of our front lawn .

I popped over to shoppers to get milk (seniors day for me ) but i forgot to load my offers last night darn it.

Such a gorgeous day sat out with neighbour for a bit.

Had my eyes checked at Walmart and found that my longsight had actually improved. Go figure. My eysight has deteriorated due to age, but I can get by my daily needs without glasses. So, I got the prescription, but did not fill them. I use reader-glasses if I need to read, but don't otherwise need any assistance. I also almost don't drive at all. So, no need for them for that activity, either. It does get to be a bit of a pain to read the ingredients in groceries. Oh, well.

I watched an older couple tape illegal signs promoting their roofing business onto Canada Post community mail boxes. This is illegal and considered vandalism. I thought about snapping a video of their actions, their faces, and their licence plate and reporting them, but decided otherwise. What's the point? They won't be held to account. I doubt that the police would even investigate. Is it even a police matter or a bylaw issue? And, if it is a police concern, is it an Edmonton Police matter or RCMP jurisdiction, since the mail boxes are technically federal property?

Anyway, I walked around the neighbourhood, ripping down the litter and throwing them away. I came upon a Canada Post delivery van worker doing the same. She told me that some workers just ignore them, but she removed them as vandalism and would report it to her supervisor. She even called the number on the signs to tell them that their actions were illegal. I told her that she was a conscientious worker; not all that common, nowadays. She thanked me for helping her remove the garbage and told me to keep up my efforts. I promised her that I would continue to help in any way I could.

Morning went to Once upon a child to sell 2 totes of clothing to them ,i got $21.70 for my daughter-in-law and $43.40 for my daughter from their used kids clothing.

Sure is packed in there had to show my drivers license to pick up the clothing ,never had to before.Cashier told me some people are claiming its their totes just to get the money .Nothing surprises me anymore.Hard time for the dishonest people also -uggggg.

Good afternoon.

Thursday I had a last minute cancellation (sick) so I had the day off and decided to hit up Costco. Was in and out by 9:10am and stuck to my list except for the golden kiwis. They are sooooooooo yummy.

Then I hit up the gym for a 5km incline walk while wearing my weighted vest and a bit of a run with it on. Came home, cleaned and made dinner.

Today I did nothing! Went to physio again (injury is back ), took a dr. phone call and I’m ok with that. Sometimes you need a break.
