TGIF! Looks cold and gloomy outside. Hoody weather for sure! Winter coat is in car still from Niagara Falls trip. Will just keep it in there until needed full time!

Will bundle up after lunch and go for a nice walk at the water. Need to get out and about this weekend and enjoy it since we had a very productive week cleaning up the yard/garage etc.
DS has a hockey game Saturday night that is closer to us then his usual games so will go to that one for sure. (Last night's game was late and we would have not gotten home till almost midnight so didn't go) He carpools with friends so we would totally go if he was alone.

Dinner was a hit. I made up plates for everyone (that way youngest DS would eat the carrots lol) and then wrapped the mac and cheese leftovers in the baking dish and put it in the fridge. I'm sure that will be gone today (DS was in it last night after hockey)
As of right now I have no plans of cooking dinner They can fend for themselves (we have lots of food to make) Tonight feels like dinner out and chill kind of night We will see what happens!

Morning ,going out for lunch with a girlfriend to a local Italian restaurant .
I have a small gift for her as she has been giving me a lot of clothing and she is a little down as her only child her son age 39 (my sons best friend since age 4)is moving to P.E.I with his girlfriend in dec or jan .
I am sure she will miss him terribly as my dear son has confided in me he will miss him so much (love the empathy my son has).
This is a friend i have gotten closer too the past few years ,i can tell her anything love having a friend like that .

P.s i am getting into a dress with my long zippered leather boots ,which are loose around the top just because i love getting a dress on .

@coupon girl , I do not know if this is how your daughter sees it but I do appreciate where yes I might work late here or there but it does give me the hours needed when I need them. I am lucky due to my overtime when Mom has an appointment my hours are covered and I do not have to use my sick or vacation time to take her.

I think the hard part for me is I was doing so well and then it all came crashing down. I was not working weekends and than it wasn't just I have to work this weekend it was how many weekends will I need to work which sent me for a bit of spiral because I felt like I was letting Mom down not having time to do the things she wanted done.

Will I have to work this weekend, we shall see I have still have approximately 50 inventory outages that need to be explained to me but I am waiting for information from others so I can do my part.

Good Morning Everyone,
Not sure if it is a Yay!!! It is Friday or Oh my it is Friday how will I get all this done yet, only time will tell.

I was in branch yesterday and stopped for groceries on the way home. I ran into No Frills and got most of what I had planned although I felt rushed as I had to get home for a meeting. I got Milk, Apples, Potatoes and Onions which were my priorities, so happy to see they had russets.

I am still torn on if I should run to Costco, I see Chicken Breasts are on sale but at the same time I just want a weekend at home.

I was freezing last night so I made Baked Potato Soup for dinner. I am really into soups this year, fall has hit and I am on board for soups, stews and casseroles.

Time to see if I can knock out all this work stuff, think I need another cup of tea to push through.

Sassy -yes my daughter sees it this way just like you the odd time she will have an appt ,she will go to appt then goes into work at 9.30 or 10.00 a.m etc. Her boss is fine with that as long as she gets her work done .

Had a lovely lunch out my friend treated me for my 65th birthday last month .We couldnt get together til now ,at my age who cares .I even brought 2 slices home for hubby of the margerita pizza.

We had coffee and tea at my house,to save a bit of money .

TGIF.
I’ve tidied the place but still need to deep clean the shower. I’ve been to the garden centre to get some op soil booster and new soil to get my garden ready and I saved $5 for being a garden club member (every little bit helps).
The next atmospheric river (not as bad as last time) is coming starting late tonight or tomorrow so I got my garlic planted. I planted just over 30 bulbs consisting of 3 different varieties. Mmmmmmmmm

I am hopeful I can get a Metro physical card and a digital one like we can for PCO. My kids have zero desire to have such apps so this way I can give them the card since Metro is our closest store. I will look into it next week when I am back in Ontario.
We had a warm week so the furnace was off for 5 days. I can’t wait until we are here full time to take advantage of some of the heating rebates because it was almost 3500.00 to heat this house last year. I bought heavy room darkening curtains for 6 windows so I am hopeful that reduces the cost. We are also replacing 2 patio doors and 2 windows in November so I am sure that will make a difference.
Not much on the agenda for the weekend. I am still dog sitting so will likely not go far.

Good Morning Everyone,
Happy Saturday.

I fell down the pinterest rabbit hole this morning, my plan was to scroll Pinterest well I drank my tea and waited for shipping to start emailing (they are in today to try to correct the system issue). Well they emailed, I was still drinking tea and still on Pinterest.

After falling down the pinterest rabbit hole there are now about 37 things I want to make most of which are cookies (deep down I think I am craving cookies), muffins and sweet breads which I mean are good but we can only eat so much. But this also means I found no new Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner options so still at square one.

Had a talk with Mom last night about getting back on a normal eating schedule, I have missed a lot of meals this week and 2 or 3 times we ate lunch super late which messed with dinner. So now I need a plan.

I do have to work today as I need to finally finalize the move plus I have a new hire starting and have no training plan, I was supposed to write the last weeks, oops the move took over.

But first I am tackling things around the house, the kitchen is cleanish, the dishwasher emptied, reloaded, hand dishes done and counters wiped down. Still need to deal with the groceries, the pantries and freezer, clean the bathroom and wash the floors but hey it is a start.
