Mr Wind blew so many leaves around that it is hard to believe I had raked two days ago. Started raking again.
Haircut finally acquired. Feels strange but good to know hair is even. Might need to get a knit hat for cool days.

Stuffiness in nose is lowering and tonsils are losing some irritation. I have felt that my cold symptoms stalled for 4 days before showing change.

Learned a lesson during online order: 2 factor authentication can be activated if one does not use the phone number associated with bankcard. Will see tomorrow if shoes are at store. I made a second trip to bank to add my cell number to my account record, as I did not think to do that after I bought the prepaid phone plan in July. Will now update some retail loyalty program accounts by using cell number and Gmail account or Outlook email. Continuing saga of not being able to get into Yahoo Mail without Google sign in at the library. Have to change the recovery email process for Yahoo accounts as they both are each other's recovery account.

If it helps, the chief medical officer of health wants seniors to get flu vaccine, COVID vaccine and RSV vaccine. The pharmacist gave us COVID vaccine in one arm and flu vaccine in the other arm, at the same time. RSV vaccine coming November 4 and free for seniors.
“Ontario’s RSV programs will play a pivotal role in protecting the babies, young children and older adults who are most susceptible to severe outcomes caused by the virus, including serious lung infections and hospitalization,” said Dr. Kieran Moore, Chief Medical Officer of Health. “To be well-protected this respiratory illness season, I also encourage everyone to get their COVID-19 and flu vaccinations, especially those aged 65 and older, as well as those who are at higher risk for severe outcomes.”

yeppers @Shwa Girl we also got our 2 shots the same way, one in each arm. I never thought about that other one?? RSV. I'll research further, but we are never around any young kids so perhaps not.

    Good Morning Everyone,
UGH, I broke the cardinal rule yesterday and went to Costco Hungry but the good news is I did grab a couple extras but actually spent less than I was expecting.

I was working in our location closest to Costco yesterday and was done early which was the plan so I could come home and work on training plans but I decided to spend my lunch trying to mad dash through Costco. I meant to grab food from the lunch room before I left but got so focused on ok, what do we need, how quick can I get in and out that I forgot to grab food.

I also grabbed a few things I normally do not buy at Costco because I am not sure if I will get to a local grocery store before the weekend.

Today is a work from home day but I need to knock stuff out so I can knock out some house stuff, my kitchen is a disaster but not in the normal dishes need to be done it is a stuff everywhere to be put away. Even last night making dinner was a challenge but I was also in the middle of something for work so I made it work.

Last night I made Instant Pot Lasagna because I wanted Garlic Bread, yep, I got these buns from Costco that all I could think was these will make an amazing garlic bread and that is all I could think of. Tonight is a mystery.

    Happy Thursday Everyone.

Good Day! Sunshine again! Hope it is a nice night for the trick or treaters.

Yesterday finished raking the back yard and all the branches/leaves were brought to the dump. This morning the back yard is covered in leaves
Just happy all the branch clean up is gone. Neighbour commented on the great job we were doing lol. Said he is waiting on someone to come and do the same to some of his trees. Happy to have the trailer off the driveway. I will rake the walkway before the trick or treaters ( so many leaves still coming down as we have a large maple in the front yard still with leaves on it. If we get another dry day I will rake more and just fill old recycling bins and do a dump run. Not a fan of having bags sitting on the curb in the rain waiting for pick up this time of year.

    Have a spooky night!

I just moved my loot to the dining room so I can put it in the Halloween bowl and then recycle the chip boxes.
I also bought a case of juice boxes for the little ones. When we first moved here we would get over 200 kids. It was also lots of friends of kids and their siblings and then people I knew with young kids and now everyone has grown up. We live on a nice crescent and people decorate so I think that is why so many still come by. I got rid of all the Halloween decorations over the past few years but I always buy a pumpkin and will put my lights on.

It should be a pretty quiet work day so I will get a few things done on my list I have been putting off and then hopefully put a load of laundry on and hang it to dry. The laundry from the other day is dry and will get put away today.

Shopping list is very short! Walmart- ketchup (French's $3.57 My kid seems to go through ketchup! so want to grab enough to get us through winter)
Castello cheese is 3 for $15 and I have $2 coupons so will grab some for my mom for her Christmas box. $2.47 Hummus
    GT- Apples and romaine.
That is about it for my list. We have lots of fresh stuff to use up still (salad kits/mushrooms/onions/peppers/carrots)
Thinking I should make a pot of rice and then we can use the chicken from the other day and the veggies for a stir-fry. Sounds like a plan for dinner!

Enjoying my coffee and then will go make breakfast and give the fridge a quick clean out while my eggs are cooking

Well my day didn't go as planned. Booked an 8 day all inclusive vacation to Mexico! Leave in 11 days!

Then my bestie asked me for lunch so picked her up and we went. Was a wait where we wanted to go, our 2nd choice didn't open till 4pm so settled for our 3rd choice.
Went to the bank on the way home to deposit cash and will now pay credit card from lunch and trip charge!

Hey frugal Smartcanucks, what time does trick or treating start? Did you get a social media post that it starts right after school? While still working at home, I see door knockers with costumes loot bags. It's light out. Some people have not even gotten home from work yet.
I thought it started at dark, and front lights are on if you are the home to go to for a trick or a treat.
    Thanks.

Geesh! ty @Shwa Girl you just reminded me to block my pathway at the end with the 2 large recycle bins.
We don't give out anymore, not enough kids to bother.
