Good Morning Everyone,
No sample source email here last time I think I got it 2 or 3 days later.
No snow here this morning, yay!!!! But it sounds like this weekend is going to be, we will call it interesting. I am always hopeful it will miss us or not happen but my nose and face are telling me otherwise.
I went to bed with a headache it was better this morning but still there so playing the waiting game to see if it gets better or worse. I did let myself sleep in this morning since it was a work from home day.
Depending on when Townhall ends today if I have time before my next meeting I might run to the store to grab a few things and stock up before the storm possibly hits. We don't really need a lot but there are a few fresh things I would like to grab.
Sounds like a good weekend to hibernate so will plan some house stuff. I need to tidy up our pantry and I want to clean the freezers, I do not think there is anything that will go but I want to see exactly what we have. Also see if we can limit some of the oddities to make more room for the staples.
As well I am really feeling a push (from myself) to get back to stocking the freezers with homemade options. Our house is always full of food but it is mostly ingredients that need to be made into something which is how we prefer it but let's face it life happens and do I always have the time and ambition to cook, nope. So I would like to have some homemade options I could pull from the freezer for those nights.
That is the plan, now to see if it happens.
Happy Thursday Everyone.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Still no SampleSource for me, but I did win cookies on the PCO Spin and win. I also have the free lunchables on both cards but we don’t use them so I always ignore. I am thinking give the cost of groceries I should pick them up and then offer them to my neighbourhood group.
The kitchen counter went in yesterday and it looks amazing. Today we get the water hooked up and then I can put it all back together.Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

Good Afternoon Everyone,
Today's meetings are done, now we prepare for tomorrow.
My first meeting did end about half an hour early so I ran to No Frills to grab a few things incase we do get this storm, we did need a lot but wanted to grab some fresh stuff. I grabbed:
Mushrooms
Lemons
Asparagus
Green Onions
Blackberries
Tortillas
Bagels (I have been craving these so grabbed a raisin and everything)
Smartfood Popcorn 2 x White Cheddar (for Mom), 1 x Movie Theater (for me)
Didn't get a lot but some nice fresh options. I will start preparing my prep list and our meal plan for next week.
I am having one of those what do you mean we have to have dinner nights, nothing is appealing or jumping out at me but I have to make something soon.2022 is going to be my year, the year I find organization in my life and the year I focus on myself,

Good morning everyone.
It's been a not so frugal week but technically it was frugal since I saved $$$ and earned PC points.
We purchased our new duvets ( just waiting for them to arrive. We saved $70 plus I had $10 in store points for a $80 savings. We’d planned to wait until Black Friday but sadly the regular prices already increased so I didn’t want to wait any longer.
I finally purchased some much needed foundation at SDM. I’ve only purchased 2 in the last 5 years so I needed it. I purchased 2 Estée Lauder products (wow there was sticker shock) but I received 2 bonuses with serums, eye cream , cream, mascara with 2 pretty makeup bags. I ended up earning 36,834 in points
.
Paid for and paid off the car insurance first another year.
Today's plan is to get a grocery list done, some laundry and light cleaning and then a run at 11am.
I'm going to be SLAMMED next week between work and a meeting with our financial advisor so I need to get as much done as I can before. I may actually die after next Saturday

Shoppers Drug Mart is having Text Tuesday on April 1, so 20% off regular priced items in most areas (in-store and online). The flyers preview has a 1pg item just for this coupon you can take a photo of to use in-store if you do not want to text the number. Also, your store cashier likely has the coupon at cash but it does not hurt to have your own copy (make sure your phone or tablet is at 100% brightness for Display before scanning the coupon on device). This offer is open to all, as you do not need an Optimum membership.
The Around the Bay Race is occurring on Sunday morning, so expect traffic detours through the west-end and downtown areas of Hamilton and Burlington. Forecast calls for possible freezing rain which could make ascents and descents on inclined roadways challenging.

Good Evening Everyone,
I had a feeling this would be the weekend Costco would put Chicken Breast and I was right. Not going to lie I was hoping to be wrong and it would be next weekend but it was this weekend so I ran down to Costco. Normally I would go first thing tomorrow as Costco on Friday is no fun but with the threat of this storm decided better to just get it done today.
Also a sign of the times in the past it has $6 off per pack during the sale, this time is only $5 off per pack. I got 2 packs plus well I was there I grabbed:
Heavy Whipping Cream
Cheese Slices
Mini Cucumbers - These were on sale
Romaine Lettuce - So happy to see they are back to having the 6-pack it is still $7.99 but most of the winter it was a 4-pack instead of a 6-pack.
I need to get back to eating more bowls and Salad, they are a great lunch option. MMMMMM Bug Mac Salad, might have to make those for lunches next week.
I started to get another weather headache, I tried taking something as soon as I felt it coming on but it wasn't helping so I decided to just grab a pizza for dinner. I tried to talk myself out of it but I didn't try very hard.
In case we do get this storm and lose power I have charged up all of our devices and downloaded some things to keep us occupied. Downloaded some movies and shows, made sure I have a book to read. I am hoping we won't need it but like to be prepared.
Tonight I am going to try to write our meal plan (the last two weeks have been a struggle) and start setting up my bullet journals for April.

Day started out pretty nicely. Lots of snow; probably 8 inches of wet heavy snow. My trouser cuffs looked like the Clydesdale hoofs, from all the frozen snow. At least my outdoor freezer was replenished, but don't know for how long.
Went into a Shell gas station to buy a Lotto649 and saw a box of sandwiches on the floor with today's date. I asked the clerk if she was going to toss them. When she said 'yes', I asked if I could have them. I would make sure that they were not wasted. She gave me all 8x sandwiches. I walked across the street to the city EcoRecycle station and the workers took two, for their coffee break. I walked past a lady waiting at a bus stop and she took two more. Then, I went into Walmart and two workers each took one. I ate the last two for dinner, as I walked.
Unfortunately, somewhere, I dropped my pair of mittens. Curses. Always some rain with all the sunshine.Had to back-track 2km to find them. Is it just me or does it really feel longer to go back for something than it took to walk the distance in the first place?! I was sooooo tempted to just let them go, but that would against my frugal nature. At least I found a can of abandoned sardines during my walk.
