Yes Ciel has definitely lived longer than she expected. I don't know her name so unable to look for an obituary now or later. Hopefully she is no longer in pain and resting in peace if she has gone.

I had also wondered about Ciel’s absence and I know her health was declining but I was hopeful it was just a lack of access to technology or the internet that would explain her gap in posting.

I was also thinking last night that we have not heard from Ciel. Hoping all is okay, I know in one of her last posts she was discussing hospice.

She was such a kind person .
She brought so much to Smart Canucks over the years.
Always a nice comment,always good helping posts and entertaining posts.
She is or was truly an online friend over the years.
That is just so sad....

I reached out to @Ciel21 on another forum yesterday that she is a member of . I was thinking if she is having issues logging on to SC maybe I will get a response on the other forum but so far I did not get a response.

I think we should all think positive . I am hoping she is ok

Good Morning Everyone,
I am off today, making it long long weekend? I don't know this Tuesday holiday is weird, but I am off today and Monday.

I took today off so I could run my errands get those done and not need to do them tomorrow and try to get ahead of the game.

I went to Food Basics right at opening but it was a bit of a bust, of the 5 things I wanted they only had 2. I got Cherries and Limes, they did not have any smart food but their White Cheddar Popcorn was on for the same price so grabbed a bag for Mom to try. They had no Zucchini and no Passata.

Then I went to Costco and I have to be honest, I feel like Costco tricked me a little bit. I checked this morning and it was not showing Chicken Breast were on sale but when everything on my list I decided to go anyways. I did grab a pack of chicken breasts because we just needed them. There was no sign but turns out they were on sale, I happened to look at my receipt and noticed they came up at $5 off confirmed yep they are on sale so I loaded everything into my car and went back in.

Now I have to laugh at myself, I meant to buy 3 packs of Chicken Breasts but I really bought 4 because I did not think about the pack already in the car, oh well, we will eat them.

Also because I did not think I was buying Chicken I bought other things thinking well without the chicken I can get them in the fridge but then I bought chicken so my fridge might explode. Just taking a quick break and then I will get to packaging and processing everything and get it in the freezer.

My hope is spend one day this weekend cooking and stocking the fridge with some homemade grab and go options.

Got 20x out-dated sandwiches and subs and 2 litres of milk from my Shell station. 1/3 were gone into hungry mouths within 1km of the station.

Walkonby -i havent heard anything about the postal strike as of yet .I do know they dont put the flyers in our mailbox anymore stopped about a month ago,so good thing i have now.

Gonna get the girls at 11.30 a.m as son needs to clean and pick up stuff for his wife for her 40Th party tonight.

Good Morning Everyone,
Some days your up and out of the house by 7:30 (yesterday) and other days you sit in the couch thinking I need to get going but it hasn't happened yet, but I still have tea so that is okay right?

When I woke up this morning it was super bright the sun was out and then all of a sudden it got super dark so dark some of the outdoor lights on sensors came back on, we got some rain and now the sun is coming back out.

Yesterday we got Mom's car towed, again he was able to start it by boosting it but when we boosted it, it was completely dead again, thinking it is the battery. I really have to make sure I drive her car more.

Got the sausages, some hot dogs from my last Costco and the ground Chicken from my No Frills shop packaged and put in the freezer, still need to deal with all the Chicken Breasts.

I need to clean out the freezer up here as I think there is some cooked Chicken up here so I need to see what we have before I decided exactly what will be done with the 4 new packs I just bought. I know we need more Chunks (we have been out for a few weeks) and I think I am almost out of Halves (I think we have 3 or 4 packs left but I will check).

Need to write out meal plan for the week, there are a couple things in the fridge to use up. An open jar of Pasta Sauce and I cannot remember the other things do will make sure to include those in the meal plan.
