Good Afternoon!
Was a slow start but found my ambition. Wrote out a to do list and have crossed a few things off it already.
Reviewed the new sale flyers starting tomorrow and wrote out a list. Cleaned out the fridge so we use what we have and space to put new stuff.
Good week for fresh fruit/veggie sales!
Tomorrow night will be Chicken Stir-fry! We have tons of peppers, onions etc to use up. We have rice. We do have chicken in the freezer but I plan to buy a tray at RCSS tomorrow morning.
Another gorgeous day! Will head out later this afternoon to enjoy it.

Thank you for starting an October page @Frugalbigmama ( I like the ' chit chat " feature )
I did my early a.m. dash to GT to grab THREE of the Butterball frozen football-like turkey
roasts. All white meat. ( best sale @ $15.97 ) .
Franco Amer. gravy is .20 cheaper at WM ( tomorrow ) but I only wanted one can to serve
at Thanksgiving with one of the turkey roasts. Paying .77 for it was fine.
We had told our guests that we were not having a turkey, instead a herb encrusted boneless pork
loin roast. Plus all the favourite sides they've come to enjoy. However, just in case anyone is
craving SOME bird, this is a very convenient option. Cooked ahead, sliced and just warmed up on
the day.
The weather ( and that sunshine ) lifted my spirits big time!

I am still doing occasional childcare with the money going to my travel fund! The last two families offered me $30 per hour-I will take it. I remember back in the olden days when I started I earned 50 cents per hr-perhaps I am dating myself!
Next week I am staying with a 3 and 5 year old from Tues-Sat while the parents are away. They offered me $400 per day and the kids are in daycare all day so basically just the evenings and overnight and my days are free.

Yeah it is Friday! Another beautiful sunny day!
Coffee. Then will tidy the kitchen from the nighttime gremlins. Put away clean laundry washed yesterday.
Youngest DS is heading away for the weekend to visit his university friends afterwork today. So one less mouth to feed
Thinking I should take steaks out of the freezer for dinner...then at least it is some sort of plan!
Ok off to get stuff done so I can get outside and enjoy the sunshine

Recovered an abandoned bag of groceries off a street median. It had 12x croissants, 8x hotdog buns, a box of hamburger helper, and a carton of chicken broth.
My food may not befit a king, but I eat like a horse.

Good Morning Everyone,
Still over here riding the emotional roller coaster and it has been a week. But I do feel I am overcoming my emotional hangover, progress.
I did have a bit of a meltdown on Thursday from the pressure, they keep pushing me, adding more and other people weren't doing their part so I had a moment.
I have also decided I am not going to Thanksgiving, I do to work every day I pretend nothing is wrong (faking it till we make it), put a smile on and all those things. I am not doing it on a weekend. We will see anyone says anything.
Wednesday after work I went to Costco because Mom was out of pain pills. Monday/Tuesday she kept confirming I was going then as soon as I walk in she texts me, you can skip it. I was already there. I felt like I needed a lot but it actually wasn't that bad, did spend a little more than I wanted too but I had a couple of pricer items. I got, Mom's pain pills, Naan, Cucumbers, Mozzarella, Cheddar, Cheese Slices, Provolone, Chicken Chunks, Regular Chips, Tea (for me) and a new snow brush for Mom's car. They had the same brush I got last year for my car, I love it and it was on sale for $14.99.
Last night after work I ran to No Frills manly because I needed mushrooms. I wasn't able to get any of the items I wanted to Price match but I got the Mushrooms, then I grabbed a few things that were on sale, Sugar, Bagels, Grapes and a box of Tea for Mom.
I have so much to get done this weekend including about a week of work. I have been so far behind all week that literally as my trainees are working on their stuff I am working on what they need to do next. Not to mention there are a bunch of reports I haven't gone over, it is not good.
I also have so much to get done around the house, this house needs a good deep clean but that won't happen this weekend. I also want to do a good prep tomorrow. To try to feel normal again last night I started writing a meal plan and prep list for the week, it is still a work in process.
Well, I better get this day going, so much to get done.

Good Morning Everyone,
Yesterday, did not go as planned I really struggled to get done what I needed to do.
I just enjoyed the morning as Mom was asleep and it felt a little like having the house to myself. That is a huge thing I am noticing right now, because I am spending so much time in the office and Mom is always home, I do not get the recovery/reset time of being alone.
Even though I did not get as far as I needed to yesterday I decided that today HAD to be a prep day. I am still struggling with Dinner ideas, I thought I had all these ideas until I went to write them down and realized although I did have some options most were not weeknight meals if I am in the office and so far I am not sure of my schedule this week, I am waiting to hear back.
I am finding it so hard to give me all to a job I know I will no longer being doing and knowing all of my work will be handed to someone else and it isn't my choice to leave the job. It is so hard to spend my weekend doing this instead of the other million things I should be doing, like cleaning my house.
Well, I better get back at it.

Well yesterday DD's BF and I went out looking at show homes as they plan to move about 20 minutes from us come the spring. DD wasn't able to come but was emailing us places to check out. Anyway we did have fun and checked out a few neighbourhoods-the only problem is I found a show home I like and I wasn't even looking.
Luckily we will be able to help them out with a sizeable down payment as we will receive some inherited dollars over the next few months-happy to pass it on now when they can use it.
