Happy Friday! It is currently snowing. Ice pellets earlier. Expecting ice pellets again later this morning.
Thinking I may stay another night here at my sister's.

We had a fun night. Made dinner. Played a new card game (Oh ?) Then the girls went in the hot tub. (my sister and niece rarely do!)
Was a bit of a late night for us all- they are all still sleeping lol

We talked about going to Starbucks and thrifting today. (my niece loves thrifting!) Will see what the weather is like.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Good Morning Everyone,
Oh my what a crazy few days. Today did not start out well. I made my tea and things were floating in it, I had the last of the old bag and opened a new one. So I made a second cup, turns out it was the new bag (last of 3), good thing I bought Milk yesterday. Something about that first thing just made me go really, this is how we are starting the day?

On Wednesday, I went for what I thought would be a 1 to 2 hour meeting, I was there almost 6 hours.

Yesterday I went in for what I thought would be a couple hours, I was there all day jumping from office to office to office.

After work I had a lot errands to run, I needed to run to Costco mainly for Cheese Slices but also found Rubbermaid Brilliance Prep containers on clearance for $19.97 so I grabbed those plus some more Cheddar, Mushrooms and Cucumbers. Also found my probiotics on sale so grabbed 2.

Then I dropped off my taxes at the accountant.

Off to Michaels to pick up an order for Mom.

I decided to skip RCSS but went to WalMart for Halls, Lettuce, Afresh Washing Machine Tabs.

Then over to Zehrs for Body Wash and Cookies (got the cookies for free, range up at $5.99 instead of $4.49).

Lastly to No Frills for Milk, Chai Tea, Soya Sauce (they had no Butter Chicken), I grabbed 3 of the PC Black Label pizza to try, they are okay, but probably won't buy again. But worked as a quick dinner last night since I didn't get home until almost 6.

Now, I am trying to get caught up, feeling a little lost today but pushing through so I don't have to work this weekend.

    Happy Friday Everyone.

    Good Afternoon Everyone,
Was wide awake at 6 am this morning so figure I might as well start my day.

I got up made a cup of tea and dove right into some work I needed to get done. I have presentation with my boss at a big meeting next week and he sent me the topics and his notes so I went over them, changed a few things, added a few things and sent it back.

I have a container under the sink that was leaking last week, not a drop and I am not shying away from using that side of the sink so I guess only time will tell. I do think we need to have the sink replaced as this is the second time this side has had a leak. But, if I can hold it off well we plan some other projects I would also need a plumber to take care of, that would be nice.

Not going to lie part of me thinks I could replace the sink but I also know, knowing my luck and the way the non-leaking side looks I have a feeling it won't be that easy and some of the pipes might need to be replaced so think I will let a professional do it.

Since it is not leaking I left the container under the sink (incase it leaks) and put everything back. We had a large bin down there from the last time it leaked and that bin was annoying me so I went through it. Got rid of somethings I do not know why we were keeping them, moved some stuff to other places (not sure why we are storing light bulbs under the kitchen sink and in the front closest so I put them all in the closet) and downsizes to a bin that is a 10th of the size. I was also now able to get my overflow of cleaning products under the sink. That is a win.

Mom got up early today so think I might she if she wants to help me sort some stuff in the living room.

Need to figure out dinner for tonight.

I should also log into work and knock out a few more things. We have a bunch of meetings next week so I do not think I will have to catch up from being behind since last week's meetings. But thinking I will do that after dinner and work well I watch some TV after dinner. We shall see.

    Happy Saturday Everyone.

    No Additional cleaning was done.

Mom fell asleep on the couch so I decided to go take a shower and do a little self care.

When I came back down, Mom was still asleep so I decided to pull a steak out for dinner and made a batch of Ricotta Gnocchi.

For Dinner I cooked off the steak and sauteed the Ricotta Gnocchi with Mushrooms and Onions in a Creamy Parmesan Sauce, it was good. I will definitely make it again.

This time I made the Gnocchi smaller and preferred them this way as they weren't as doughy.

I am not sure about my prep for the week as I have a few meetings this week that are going to include meals.

But I am thinking I would like to make myself a nice breakfast of some sort tomorrow. I keep seeing videos with Pancakes and Waffles and they look good. Or I found a recipe for Cinnamon Knots I want to try, guess we will see how I feel in the morning.

I really should log into work but I also found a new crochet pattern I want to try, decisions.

Rescued an 800g bag of Reese's Pieces from the dump, but had to sacrifice 4x 2-pound bags of cookies to the almighty Landfill Gods. The tragedy is that the cookies were bought for $12 and not salvaged.

I totally missed the scrubbing bubbles deal at NF. I like the shower foam. So I may make a trip out Monday. I want to go to Costco anyway. I am loving the good greens lettuce, it’s a Canadian product and I will never go back to other stuff. I have also been buying their Greek yogurt as it’s prettier good and one of the cheaper options.
Dinner tonight is ham and scallop potatoes thanks to No Frills this week. It’s nice to get ham for 1.99 a pound. There will be leftovers so we will do fried rice Monday. So that’s 2 days of menus done.
Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

    Good Morning Everyone,
It has been a slow morning over here.

Although I did run out to Sobey's, we are out of pickled Ginger, No Frills doesn't carry it and I forgot to grab some at WalMart. Well I was there I also grabbed a Vanilla Ice Cream as it was on sale.

Normally I wouldn't run out for one thing but as I mentioned I have some meeting this week that will feed me so I don't need to prep for me. I have offered to prep for Mom but she keeps saying she will be fine but I think it is the change in weather she has been having a lot of pain. I have decided to make dinners that will have leftovers so they will just be in the fridge for quick grab and heat options.

I know some might be thinking well just prep and the food would be there as well, but Mom can be stubborn. Where is Mom suggested dumplings last night until she remembered we were out of pickled ginger so this way it was her idea.

I think I will also whip up a batch of Muffins, then even on when a meal is provided I can one in my bag for a snack if needed. I may also make some Peanut Butter Blondies just because they sound good right now.

I will also prep the produce, although all I have this week is cucumbers and lettuce but it will be done.

    Happy Sunday Everyone.
