Good afternoon.

I popped out this morning to grab a few things. Found lots of clearance items at both SDM's. Lots of baby products at my 1st stop (including the Live baby body was reg $17.99 on for $3!) I only bought one package of baby wipes for $2 (for my car) and $2 for Garnier face serum.
NF- I went to both stores and redeemed $10 PC pts at each (for bacon, 2 x strawberries, Rolls for sliders tonight (found on clearance so saving the ones in the freezer for a future meal) Starbucks Vanilla latte (treat) bag of milk.
Walmart- Bought 8 cans of the gravy on for .76C, Janes Fish for $5.97 and a bag of ruffles chips
Dollarama- Gravel (for cruise- better safe then sorry-never used it but cheaper to have on hand then have to buy on the ship) a 2nd container of hand sanitizer.

I am shopped out. This week the plan is to prep all food at home, clean house and post tons of stuff for sale since I plan to be available 24/5 for pick ups all week.

Stopped at mailbox and received the $10 GC for Loblaws x 2 from the Old El paso promo. Just looked online and even though the promo was on till March 31st it says the offer is now closed (I guess they hit the 10,000 card request limit) Happy I actually received them! and $2 coupons off Black Diamond cheese shreds.

Good Morning Everyone,
It is a slow work morning over here. Just trying to get caught up on all the things as I did not log in over the weekend. I was going to log in last night to catch up but I wasn't feeling my best so I went to bed early instead.

I made the dumplings as planned for dinner, there is enough rice left for two lunches. By mistake I made extra dumplings, I was counting them out and realized there were only a few left but my count was off so there are also 5 dumplings leftover.

I made a batch of Brown Sugar Muffins and some Peanut Butter Blondies yesterday and called it a day.

I did also clean out the fridge and take out the garbage.

I can also report that after a week of not a single drop dripping from our sink and after I put everything back, she was leaking yesterday. I know this will sound so odd and crazy but it did it again when I was washing the produce. The only thing I do different when washing produce vs dishes is I add vinegar. The good news is the container caught it all.

Alright now to see what else I can knock out today.

I went to the bank to get information for my direct deposit ,i downloaded an app for hubby's health care thru his employer.The woman on the phone said i know more than i think .lol
So now i just uploaded my 4 drug pictures (i had to pay upfront on the phone)it is so easy ,they recieved it and said to wait 2-13 days .Hop i am covered for all of this prescription as it was $220.00

Who would have thought i would learn all this cell phone stuff .
See Walkonby always says old school here as she has no cell phone if i could do it then anyone can .

Ok listen so sorry I need to rant those things out....

1-When I saw my doctor on my last appointement I ask her if she could take my father as a patient too.
She said no, she is loaded.
But wrothe me informations on 2 websites he can subscribe to be on a waiting list.
She said that would work even if he have a doctor because she is not in the same city..
That is not true!!! It dont work!!!
I will surely retalk about this situation with her on my next appointement!!!

2-My father cannot subscribe to the no doctor waiting list because he have a doctor.
He explained really well that she is not in the same city and it is now to far for him to go.
And that is an exception.

No ,they said no.

The 2 websites my doctor give to me are forms to fill I tried but they wont let me fill it ,they block me because they know he has a doctor.I cannot explained is doctor is in another city too far away.....
So my godmother give me a phone number to call for exceptions.That is the number my father called.

If he want to subscribe to the waiting list he will have to quit is doctor.
And you can wait 2 years on the waiting list...
That is crazy and none sense...
Why not make a exception because it is good valids reasons and subscribe him and he can keep his other doctor during this time???
He will probably will have no car. How he is suppose to go in another 2:00 away city to go to his appointement???
And because of that far away doctor he has to paid 2x double is form to fill in private....
Health in QC sucks!!!! And the waiting delay list for is surgery too...!!

3-Oh and the cop said stop to go to the police station (he went 2 time and she was not call him back) or call at the police station (he did not even do that) , I wont change the papers form for the accident....wow...rude
Otherwhise it will be considered like harassment.
So my father want to go in small claims court against Intact... because they dont take the 2 versions.
None sense.

4- We received the paper to renew our appart in june and it will very increase of 4.6%
Not happy.....

Morning!

I popped out after work yesterday starving...I think my plan was to pick something up to eat. But then I decided black bean tacos sounded like a great idea for dinner so I picked up hard shells (5 dinner kits x $4 each- redeemed $20 in PC pts and received $10 back in points) Made the beans (expired!)

Now I need to buy more black beans. I guess the frugal way is to buy a bag of beans so I will look into that. I have always done the cans but am looking at maybe my cheap meal even cheaper! I don't want to eat it too much and make myself sick of it but I think this is my fav cheap meal right now. My family is not on board with the black beans...more for me

The sun is trying to shine. Really need to get outside and enjoy some fresh air today. Need to get back to walking. I also need to put on new runners but I have been putting it off till the weather is nice. I have 3 new pairs ready in the wings...which is good because I am not seeing the deals I usually get.

Ok going to finish my coffee and try and find my motivation. Have a wonderful day!

I’m with you @Frugalbigmama . We looooooooove beans of any kind but black beans are a personal favourite. I too should be purchasing them dried to make it more cost effective but I don’t really have the extra time to soak and cook them ( I don’t have an instant pot). Oh well it’s still an inexpensive meal.

Dh and I hit up Costco this morning and it was fantastic. I could actually pursue the isles and check out any new items. Anyways in and out with only $75 in damages so I’m happy with that.

The rain has slowed (thanks goodness) but I think I’ll hit the treadmill instead of going outside. My back is still off so I’m taking it easy.

Harbie-maybe soak and cook up a whole pack of dried beans on the weekend and keep them in the freezer in meal size portions. Almost as handy as cans.
