    Good Morning Everyone,
UGH, my back did not appreciate sitting on the bar stools at Dad's last night, it is not happy this morning. But we are pushing forward as there are a few things I would like to get done today.

I made the Apple Fritter cake which I took for dessert and Dad/Step Mom and Bro/Sis-in-Law split the leftovers so I came home with an empty container. Which is fine because I have mow apples I need to use up and can make another one but I think I will whip up a crustless strawberry today for us.

Bro messaged they were coming around 2, originally Step Mom said to be there for 4, so most of us rushed around got get there early, I got there at 2:30 and was the first to arrive. Bro who messages be there around 2 showed up at 4:15. Which is fine but just annoying because some of us rushed to get their early because Bro was also leaving right after dinner.

It was a good night, we all left by 7, I called Mom who has not had dinner yet so I grabbed her Swiss Chalet on the way home.

It is a slow morning here but I have the dishwasher running, when it is done, I will empty it and then load it with our new dishes and run it again. Then I will have to see if they fit in the cupboard with the current setup on if I will need to move some stuff around.

I need to finish my cup of tea and hope it brings me lots of ambition.

Happy Sunday and Happy Easter Everyone.

I told him that I did find some 2-pound bags for $10 at the No Frills, that come from the same company.

If anyone is looking for the cheaper beef, I found some 1.1kg Great Value bags at Walmart for $10 and some 2-pound bags at Freshco for $10. Substituting the lean ground turkey of 4-pounds for $10 is a good idea.
@herman . thanks that makes sense. I feel like I haven't seen them in the bunker for a long while now. I will look else where!

    Happy Easter Sunday!

No chocolate bunnies here. I bought them for my kids for years (oldest doesn't eat chocolate) Youngest doesn't need it lol
I will NOT go to the stores tomorrow to be tempted by reduced Easter chocolate!

Made my coffee to go this morning and went to both SDM's to take a walk around and a Dollar Tree. Bought a Dove deodorant for $3
(reg $9.99) and received 2000 PC Pts! (I like to have a few extra ready) They had a new body wash and body scrub on for $5 as well but trying to use up the stuff we have.
Came home and cooked up my ground turkey for dinner. Made my 12pm meal and now I will go wash up the last few dishes.

DS will be vacating the basement later this afternoon so I will put on a load of laundry and see what I can bring up and put in the garbage cart since tomorrow is garbage day. I've decided anything on the foozeball table is fair game since it has been sitting on it for a long time and not needed. Then I am posting it for sale and getting it out of the house! Tomorrow I will be posting stuff for sale since I plan to be available all week for pick up.
Setting a goal of collecting $150 Cash by Friday....Let's see if I can do it!!

    Have a wonderful day.

    Good Evening Everyone,
Today was a bit of a blah day for me, I kept telling myself if I got and got things done I would find ambition but I never did. I have just been tired all day.

But the day was not a loss.

I ran the dishwasher with our old dishes in it. Emptied it and then I unboxed and filled the dishwasher with the new dishes and washed those.

I am proud of myself, normally things like this I would let sit and wait, for what I do not know. Am I worried I might want to return them? Maybe. Am I putting off something I will accomplish? Maybe. Am I putting off something nice? Maybe.

I am working on just doing things and not thinking about them.

I packed up our old dishes and re-organized our dish cupboard as our new dishes do not fit the same as our old dishes.

We actually had two mismatched sets, I took photos of the Ikea set and boxes them up and will post them for free. The Corel ones will go to the basement until I find the rest of the set, I think I know where they are but I cannot get to them right now and it is not a priority. I was going to keep some bowls I bought at Giant Tiger but after opening the new set I think I will also pack them up and post them.

It wasn't what I planned for today but it is what I got done and something is better than nothing.

    Happy Easter everyone.
Iwent to dinner yesterday at my aunt’s and everyone complimented my pants. I shared that a friend had given them to me after she lost weight and I was pleasantly surprised when all my cousins admitted to thrifting before buying new.
Has anyone being playing the Scene contest in the app? It’s pretty easy and while I rarely win my last attempt gave me 750 SCENE points the catch is I need to spend 10.00 at Sobey’s. That’s easy enough to do.
I can tell spring is on the way because I was out fora walk today and my allergies are now in overdrive.

Happy Monday! Wish today was a stat! I usually take the day off but figured it would be a quiet day workwise anyway so rather save the vacation day for when it is nicer out.

Today- I plan to get out for a walk and enjoy the fresh air. Will make sure to bundle up because it does look cold out.
Have food ready for my healthy eating day. I would like celery so will probably pick some up in my travels today. Will dig in the freezer and see what the plan is for the week. Laundry and posting stuff for sale is on my do to list today as well.

Enjoying my coffee and figuring out my day plan!

    Have a wonderful Monday!

    Good Morning Everyone,
Woke up to a light layer of snow on everything and they are calling for more tonight, so we shall see.

Today is bed washing day, I have my second load in now and once Mom is ready for the day I will strip her bed.

Running a little behind on the bedding because my phone start at 6:45 this morning. Over the weekend one of our branches lost power and are still struggling to get everything back up and running. We have their internet and printing working but phones are still down.

Need to figure out dinner for tonight, thinking either the Roast I did not cook last night or I also have some Cherry Tomatoes I need to use up so I could make Mozzarella Chicken. We will see I do have a few afternoon meetings which if they run late will decide dinner for us.

Need to knock out some work stuff and hoping I can get a few house things done during my lunch, we will see.

    Happy Monday Everyone.

Good morning, today brings back good memories of getting both Good Friday and Easter Monday off as paid stats when I was working.
Never appreciated that benefit until I learned many many workers do not get the Monday off. ( including my DH ).

So I'm still battling the ear infection, using the antibiotic ear drops faithfully. DH had to pump gas today at Petro Can @ a whopping
$1.86 per Litre. The last time we pumped ( March 30th ) it was $1.70 per Litre. Thinking it will keep climbing, grateful that since he's
been off work for the last 3 weeks we've avoided burning fuel on his long travels to and from work. I'll take that as a frugal win!
@SassyAshley you're a Spring Cleaning wonder! Even when you think you might sit and rest on your laurels you somehow find energy
    to get at everything.

@Frugalbigmama I certainly applaud your willpower to avoid any Easter chocolate. None of us need any of that but when our 3 were
young they ingested their fair share of Easter chocolate. Back then it was not even " good " chocolate, they got whatever was on sale
from a Dollar store ( shame on us! )

@lilo0003 I only shop for my clothes at Value Village and similar thrift stores, at this point why waste the money on new? The ensembles
I put together off their racks work out quite well.

We did get that light dusting of snow in the early a.m. but the sun melted it away quickly. Happy Easter Monday everyone.

I've been watching the Flash food app today. 2 trays of BLSL chicken for around $6 each. I don't think I have ever bought meat and I was a little skeptical but both packages look good.

While out I checked 2 No Frills- Found 50% bagels and garlic bread for DS (also received 500 PC pts each) . Strawberries were $1 at the one NF so found 3 good packages. $2 bacon. Found 2 good packages.
Cucs with 50% off and were .99 each reg (the 2nd NF were selling for $1.49) So will cut them up today for my snack today and tomorrow and the rest for probably DS that likes them with hummus too.
    Good little haul.

Snack time! (I was reading local menus and making myself hungry!)

I baked the chicken this afternoon that I took out yesterday to thaw. I don't want my dinner (ground turkey) but I want the cauliflower...I'm sure I will eat it and be satisfied when the time comes. Switching it up tomorrow.....Chicken!

Was a busy work day- got stuff done. Was going to go out for a bit now but I don't really feel like going out in the cold so I am going to stay home. The sun is coming in strong in my office window...I can see why animals like to sleep in the sun!
