We had a rabbit named Buster when the kids were little, he used to jump on the kids and climb up the front of them when they had dry cereal as a snack at night (they liked it that way) He also chewed through plastic bags I had left on the floor with gummy candy in it. He used to challenge the vacuum every time I brought it out, and he struck fear into the heart of the dog!

Our cat Taffy loves licking the margarine - and yes, it's often my fault because I forget to put the dish in the cupboard. She also is crazy about Cheez Whiz - likes any cheese, but particularly that plastic variety, lol!
OP, very cool that your cat brings your 'presents' - I think that's so cute! We had a cat a while back who would steal socks - not a bad thing, if she were getting a clean one from the laundry basket, and take to her 'stash' under the buffet.... but then one day she brought out a pair of my panties - and proudly dumped them in the middle of the living room - thank goodness we didn't have anyone over then!
We had one cat in the past, Pouf, who liked baked goods - and yes, we would give him a pinch from a doughnut once in a while. But one morning, I went into the kitchen, and he had totally shredded a bag of homemade muffins, eaten right through the plastic! Some time later he did the same thing with just crackers - I doubt it was because he was hungry!
The 'worst' find I ever made (glad I caught it in time) was finding a baked chicken leg under the bed in our bedroom. That was our former cat 'Monkey' who would hide food til later when Pouf wasn't around...
Gah, they are trying but they are all so lovable!

Well I have a hoard of cats but I will try to limit my stories about their quire

The bathroom shares a wall with our bedroom, and we sleep with the cats locked out cause man how can such a little body take up so much room (I obviously don't have kids yet). Two of the cats have discovered that pawing at the vanity cupboard doors makes a lot of noise and wakes me up. So they can open the door and root around in the toiletries, but once te cupboard closes on them, they don't understand how to get out. So they sit and cry and keep head butting the door but will not push it far enough. So I generally have to go rescue them.
I keep my laptop on the kitchen table and I generally don't close the screen down - I swear my computer is gonna die soon because of the cats. I used to think they laid on it for the warmth in the cold winter, but it was 19 degrees out recently and those two boys were both (!) cuddled up on the keyboard.
One of those boys is super affectionate and would cuddle/talk for hours. He will lay next to my fiancé for 20 minutes and lick his beard continuously while making weird deep purrs. It is hilarious the zone he gets into, and then he just snaps out of it, jumps up as if to say "that' it, I'm done" and prances over to the door.
Strangest thing I have seen any of them eat, our "fattie" as we lovingly call him, ate a crouton off the floor. I think we know why he is our big boy.

I just watched a show the other day about the CAT BURGLER this cat for the past few years goes out into the neighborhood at night and brings back prizes for its owners. Everything from slippers, pencils and pens, 4 bras, underware, towels, game it, this cat has brought it home. They set up a camera ( the tv crew ) and filmed this kittie coming home dragging a bra....it left again and came back with a sock, then a pencil. This cat did this all night long. The neighbors think its so funny, and nobody will claim their stuff. This lady has a whole room full of stuff the cats brings home every night. Soooo funny.
We all need a little sunshine every now and then

I have 3 dogs, they are all very different. Our oldest dog Jessica when she gets a raw hide chew and doesn't want it at that time, she burry's it, and when I say bury it there is maybe a leaf on it, it is in plain sight, she will then lay about 5 feet from and scan our faces and the dogs reactions, then it seams she panicks and thinks someone knows where it is, so she "buries" it again, this goes on a few times, until she get's tired and gives up and eats it.
Delila our youngest dog she chews up our cigarette packages, I think she might know it is bad for us
Serta is our odd duck, She will stare at a chair until we pull it out and say ok be people and she jumps up and will sit there for hours, but she will never ever get on the couch or bed even if invited, She also talks to us it is the stranges thing, we have no idea what she is saying but we can say serta do you have a story for us today and her face lights up and she starts growling and barking, then she waits for a response and then does it again it is very cute.

Our dog does the same with his bones!!! He has a few and they all get buried around the house....never outside. Sometimes he'll climb up on the back of the chair or couch to hide them behind the curtain on the windowsill, lol. And he looks around, all paranoid trying to see if anyone is watching him locate a good hiding place, lol.
He's also a kleenex thief......he never takes them directly from the box but 2 people here have crazy allergies and sinus issues so there's always clean folded kleenex piles kicking around. He steals them and then tears them to shreds......or looks at you innocently while there's a huge ball of kleenex sticking out of his lips, lol.
Hmmm.....he'll bark his head off at anyone who comes to our house.....like he's going to eat them.....but he's afraid of flies.....houseflies. They don't bother him outside but if there's one in the house he'll run around shaking and looking around in a panic for it..........until someone kills it. It's sooo bizarre, lol.
When it comes to food/water, he won't drink stale water, lol.....it has to be fresh from the tap. And while he has a food dish that is regularly filled, about once a week he'll find a long lost piece of kibble that's way under the couch or the fridge or something and sit there crying and scratching at it until someone helps him get it out. He also tries to eat the random bits of kibble that get swept up.....covered in dust or not, lol.
Pets....gotta love em! lol
