I know that would be nice to get notice, but I do understand that sometimes it's unavoidable.
Gosh, I actually had to find stuff to do earlier this morning - not much else to do around 5 a.m. lol - I usually am on SC!

Yeah indeed sometimes it is unavoidable, and today was one such day. Things are looking good now though, some database changes have been made.. sorry folks.

Email notifications are now 2 days behind. I just got an email for a message posted Thursday afternoon!

Just click on their username, a link is there.
Or at the bottom of each post there is a PM button.

Email notifications are now 2 days behind. I just got an email for a message posted Thursday afternoon!
Any idea when this will be fixed?

I am working on the email issue. It's a finicky one because the large email providers like gmail, hotmail, etc.. think emails from the forum are junk, so they are limiting the rate that we can send messages out. I am making changes to hopefully help but it will take a while to see if it is making a difference.

Just to let you know not only are they late but I am getting 10-12 of the same messages over and over again about PM's and thread updates.

Thanks for that info.. that helped me to look in the right place. Things changed a bit with the vb4 upgrade in the email system and I am working on getting the best settings. I've made some more changes this morning, and had to clear out some queued messages but am hoping now that most messages come through as expected and without as much delay from now going forward.

Please post back here to let us know if the emails are getting through more reasonably. I am monitoring as well from the system side.
