    Here's some background info.... My company gives out safety points for attending meetings, filling out safety cards and reporting hazards when we are out in the field. This year we had the option of converting out points into gift cards for Canadian Tire or Mark's or ordering items out of their catalog. Since I don't like ordering things from catalogs that I can't return, I got $350 in CDN Tire gift cards. Last month I bought the mini ice maker for $159 plus tax, so I still had $150 in gift cards, plus my CDN Tire money.

    Today I went in and bought the pressure washer that was in the flyer for $249

    Sale price: $249
    Tax:$12.50
    Gift Cards: -$150
    CDN Tire $: -107.90

    OOP: $4.59

    Since the line got pretty long while the cashier counted the CDN tire $, hubby grabbed a 5 out of his wallet to speed everything up!

    Even better, it was the LAST one they had! And since we live on an acreage, this is just what we needed for cleaning the vehicles, quad, lawn tractor ect...

    Thanks everybody! Ive been saving CT money for 4 years, and always fill up the truck when I go to town at CT. It is going to be soo handy, especially since we drive about 10 miles of gravel to the highway and park at a gravel parking lot, with big trucks driving by all day! Our white vehicles endup looking sandy beige at the end of the week!
