Thanks so much! I have PM'd you and am looking forward to using my slow cooker. I find so many regular slow cooker recipes are really high in fat, so this will be a life saver. I had a very regrettable week-end 'points-wise' but am now back in the saddle....

oh aussie, even though I am not on the WW plan I sure would love those slow cooker recipes! I will pm you.

Dianne? what regrets? details! ( ha ha ) No just joshing you, I was supposed to be back at work today but I have no idea what's going on, my Dr. forms never arrived after being faxed Thursday?? I sit and wait for a call now.

This week that stupid digital scale says I only lost 1 lb since last week ( again!!) but the regular scale with no battery or gadgets, just step on it and needle swings upward, well it says I am 3 lbs lighter than last week so I'm going with that one! ( lol)
The inches don't lie, lost 1.5 from the B,W,H...1.5 from the other areas.

Was that the phone ringing just now?? agh! maybe it's work!!

This ( below) is for you AmberLab!!

Dont ya hate it when you waste points on crappy food! did the regrettable food at least taste good?

Most of the slow cooker recipes Ive found are high in sodium! I dont used canned or packet soup mixes!

It was one of those 'mindless eating' episodes....why in the heck I bought the new Ritz pretzel munchable thingies is beyond me. I know what my trigger foods are and chips and pretzels are way up at the top of the list. I find staying on plan has a lot to do with what food I do or don't have in the house. I am off grocery shopping tonight to make sure I have good food choices at my finger tips....

On another note, I too have a digital scale and will be replacing it soon. I can weight myself 3 minutes apart on it and get two different outcomes.

Hello ladies! Yeah, I think it is time to ditch the depressing ( and fickle) digital scale. Same thing Dianne, I moved it to 2 different spots ( on a carpet, on a cement floor ) weighed 2 times in each place...just silly! All different readings. So old fashioned scale is now my new friend.
I repped you aussie about the slow cooker attachment, well you know. lol!
I am working! I am walking! yeah!
Hopefully my body counts it as burning calories! lol

I hear you on the trigger foods Dianne! I cant drink any more, because A I dont wanna waste points on it, and B, when I do, it makes me want to eat junk!!! easier to stay away from it! and I will give up diet coke ( again) for good this time, when we get the green light to TTC again...

Walkonby- woohoo on working and walking again!!!
My digital scales a few lbs different from the WW scales... thinking I need to get some new ones eventually...

I weigh and record every day, even though I am only supposed to weigh myself once a week on this.
( I view those instructions as more of a suggestion, lol ) Anyway, my neighbour down the street saw me today for the first time since maybe a month, and gave me the " look at you girl! " That is really how I should measure the success I suppose.
    Have a great day all!

Whoo-hoo walkonby! I think that is the BEST way to measure success! (Frig the scale some days.)

Another way is how you feel when you wear a smaller size. You guys can do it! When I started this thread I was wearing 4x, I now wear 2x. Motivation!!!

17.9lbs happy dance! Fabulous aussie! You're so close to 10%, I think it's a major goal to get there!

I am doing fantastic, thank you. From the moment I woke up from surgery I have been pain free and have had no pain meds. FANTASTIC. And as a bonus, although I haven't been tracking and it may be a little from surgery/stress/not eating so much, I've got another 5lbs gone. I think I may start back on the plan fully tracking next week. That 5lbs was a kick in the arse motivation I needed. I am inching close to my next goal!

And I just noticed...our thread is over 500 posts! Awesome! I hope everyone is enjoying the summer, but please check in to let us know how you are doing or how we can help scooch you along to your goals too!

Just a thought...does anyone want me to make my first post a wiki, so you can see who is participating and everyone's progress? No personal details, just something like "JoeBlow - started May 2012 - lost 12 lbs." Let me know your thoughts, we don't have to, no pressure.
