What a cute kitten! If you want something cute, how about Kerry (as in Kerry Blue Terrier - hey, I'm a dog person, what can I say)? That way you can have Cash & Kerry (yes, I have a twisted mind).

My brats pretty much chose their names. Lily came from the shelter with a name she didn't respond to. I wanted a name out of Greek mythology, but my parents vetoed me (you can't saddle such a sweet dog with such a horrible name). We were discussing potential names, when my Mom said "What about Lily" and she came running over.

With Quincy, I had a shortlist of 5 names. I was hoping for Danny, but the only name he liked (he meowed and nudged my hand) was Quincy, so Quincy he became. There's also meaning behind the name in that he's the 5th pet I've ever had & Quincy means 5. Of course, I usually end up calling him Daemon Child.

Good luck with the kitten, he looks so angelic...for the moment!

Sorry I've been MIA. My Dad had surgery last week, wanted to drive himself home from hospital, so I had to hide his keys (only half joking) and play chauffeur to my Mom.

The brats got away with murder (hey, they don't have grandchildren, they have to spoil the critters).

I think I've finally caught up on all the posts. Thanks all for the words. I scrolled through the posts, giving out as much rep as I could (hope I haven't missed anyone).

Looks like everyone's been having fun with the same illness that knocked me out for the month of Aug (get your Doc to give you Cipro, trust me it works). Hope everyone feels better. For those in the storm's path, stay safe and dry.

bumble reminds me of a great cat I had many years ago, her name was RFC. People used to come over to visit her, not me. I had over 40 names on a list that wanted one of her kittens. RFC = ed fooking cat
