How to put a user on ignore

Nope, they can see your posts unless they ignore you too, but any replies are minimized and mods/admins can see everything

There may be addons or permission software that can do it, but I haven't seen it actively being used anywhere if there is

Nope, can't be done Jenny - also, if it's someone with any sort of... powers, you can't even use the feature on them at all, only on regular members.

I realized today that I have 2 members on ignore, but I don't even remember why anymore. I figured it must have been enough for me to do it in the first place, so that's where they will stay.

My advice is to kindly "out" the person in a post next time they 'follow you'
"It makes me uncomfortable when you ______. Please don't follow me. Thank you for your consideration."
Other members reading that thread will be made aware you're uncomfortable. Knowing this, the creep will likely feel watched and wont follow you anymore.

I've noticed that even if you have a member on ignore, if they are the OP you can still see what they have written in that post by pressing the [+] next to the thread title.

Really wish that ignore would simply eliminate the whole post including user name from view. Just seeing certain names makes me churn and when I see them post I get an urge to see the post so I can have yet another reason to get aggravated.(at myself)
