I have my kitty, Keisha, that I adopted from a woman who couldn't afford to keep the kittens that her cat gave birth to, for close to a year now. She's adorable and I love her! I've had cats before Keisha, but she's different. She's very attached to my boyfriend and I. She will follow us from room to room (even if one of us has to go to the bathroom...she will demand to be in the bathroom at the same time) and she gets upset if we shut the door to our bedroom. That being said...there are many things that Keisha does that makes her the cutest thing ever. For instance, when I take a shower, she likes to get in between the transparent and the "heavy" curtain, and she tries to "catch" the water droplets that roll down on the transparent one....she will do this even once the shower's stopped running! Another thing that makes my heart melt is when she finds stray pieces of paper (from couponing?) and she takes them into her mouth and hides them...until I find them on my bed, smack in the middle. It's like she wants to show me what she's "found"!
What are some quirky/silly things that your pet(s) do that melt your heart and just make you say "awwwww"?This thread is currently associated with: N/AComplete quick surveys and cash out at every $20. Receive a cheque, deposit it into your bank. That easy! https://legerweb.com/2Q7V3

Great idea for a thread!!

My dearly departed Sherry kitty was the best for having cutest. thing. ever. moments...
Some of those I fondly remember:
- Her jumping to catch flies out of the air, followed by the most fabulous look of utter concentration as she waited for them to stop moving inside her mouth so she could swallow.
- She would wake me up just before my alarm clock went off (she had an excellent sense of time) by rubbing her foot (no claws out) under my nose to tickle me awake - annoying but adorable
- She would come lay by my head and purr me to sleep whenever I was sad or crying in bed.
My other kitty, Sprinkles, has some equally cute moments:
- She plays fetch! She's great at retrieving things, but only likes to play with items I've inadvertently dropped (balled up twist ties, the caps off of oil bottles and milk containers, etc.)
- If you ask, "Where's Sprinkles???" in an excited tone, she will come running and literally jump up in the air to get your attention
- She thinks that she can hide behind a Kleenex box or a shoe (she will even try to hide behind a flip-flop!) and she does so whenever we run the vacuum cleaner or there's a thunderstorm, or she has any reason to be scared (In her defence, her "hiding" worked when she was a 1lb kitten, but for a 12lb cat, it's more than a bit of a stretch!!)

Aww they both sound so adorable! I agree with the time thing...Keisha sits very patiently on top of my bed until 7am and then, as if she knows that it's time to wake up, she starts jumping and playing with my feet to wake me up. Of course...she does this partially because she knows that I will give her some soft food or a treat or something. She also hides in the weirdest places and she just lies super still when I say "where's Keisha?" and then she'll jump out as if to surprise me lol.
I don't know if your cats did/do this...but Keisha will run from one side of the wall to the other, bounce OFF of it, and keep running...very Matrix-like...it always makes me laugh...until I have to wash off all the paw prints that she leaves on my walls (especially if she's made a trip to my wet bathtub, then the litter before that).Complete quick surveys and cash out at every $20. Let's see:
Charlie is the most affectionate cat I've ever met. He is most definitely my baby cat. Has to be touching me as much as possible. He gives amazing head-butts, and purrs and meows at you as he does it. As soon as he hears the alarm go off he head-butts the door saying "Mommy, I know you're awake. Let me in". He is very vocal too. he licks like a dog too sometimes and gets into this weird trance.
Andy (my avatar pic) is hilarious. He isn't too bright, but he's soooo funny. If you brush him, or one of the other cats, he tries to eat the fur... I swear he has PICA. He's also been caught munching on lettuce. The funniest thing about him is he stands there and meows at you, then rubs a wall to mark it, and then looks back up and basically says "see, I did a trick...now give me a treat".
Simba is a sook. If you are cuddling with him on your chest he basically pets himself by rubbing hid head under your chin. He also huffs at you when he isn't impressed with you.
Funniest thing about my cats loving me so much is that I have had three cats around me when I first wake up and go into the bathroom in the morning. TMI, but if I am on the toilet I have one cat rubbing my legs, one walking on the back of the toilet tank rubbing my shoulder, and Andy jumps on my lap!

LOL, Sprinkles - the one who likes to play 'fetch' - often finds herself getting up too much speed and running head-first into the stairs, bathtub and cupboards during our little games. If she gets really excited while playing, I try to make sure that I only throw her toy on carpeted surfaces so that I don't have to deal with a stunned kitty and all the hair that seems to fall off her everytime there's a high speed collision

Charlie sounds like an amazing kitty! Very affectionate indeed! Reminds me of my Keisha
I love it when they're so attached.
Andy isn't "too bright"? LOL that made me laugh. His silliness surely makes up for it. He sounds like a sweetheart.
Simba sounds to be the mature one of them all, the one who probably acts super cool around the others lol.
I love how you have three cats. My boyfriend would never let me get another one...he complains that Keisha is hairy (which is true) and wants to shave her! I just couldn't bear the sight of her looking bald though...or worse, like a "lion" (no offense to anyone who gives this cut to their cat). One day...when I have a house, I'm sure I can sneak in a kitten or two and he'll just have no choice but to fall in love with them!Complete quick surveys and cash out at every $20. OMG lol Keisha does that too...except that I don't throw anything. She gets super excited in the mornings when I wake up so she starts running like crazy! Our floors are all hardwood, so for a fraction of a second she'll be just doing the running man on one spot and then charge head first into the wall...oh boy lol. It's sooo funny but I'm always afraid she'll actually end up hurting herself!

I am not quite sure how I did this but I forgot one of our cats. We have four (my fiancé had two and I had two when we got together) so we have a very cat-centric house. The one I forgot (thought I swore I wrote a blurb on her - maybe just in my head, LOL) was our feisty Mainecoon named Minnie. She keeps to herself most of the time but can be a real sweetheart when she wants to be. When she doesn't, she is a wild beast. One of the cutest things about her is she can't meow, but she loves to talk... So she makes these weird throat noises and grunts. She has also jumped in the bathtub with me once, and that didn't end well for my legs. There are pictures on my profile of each of them, my babies

Oh my, I don't think a cat would be nearly as charming if you petted it and it as flesh/skin versus fur... Maybe I am just a cat snob, but I definitely don't like the lion look, or the sphinx cats. Though perhaps the sphinx cats would be helpful with my cat allergies. Hopefully you will be blessed with another fur baby sometime in the future

No idea, honestly. She just never has but she huffs, purrs and grumbles and grunts. I have heard some cats that have meows too high-pitched for us humans to hear which is why some cats have "hesitated meows" where they open their mouth, make a meow face and you don't hear it until halfway through (our other cat Andy does this frequently). As for her..., she's just always been like that. I also have a friend who has two sister cars and they can't meow either, so can't be that weird

Autumn was feral so any time she wants attention, its super cute bc we didn't think we would ever be able to pick her up or cuddle etc and now she will climb right into your arms and headbutt your face for attention
Roo is a snugglebutt, we have had him from just weeks old and Mortgage Queen snuggled him lots before that, so he is used to and expects a lot of attention, he also plays fetch, can give hi5s (on occasion, if I try filming him he smacks the camera instead) and jump through hoops. He will also chat to you, you can carry on whole conversations with him and he will answer you. He also can't bear to not know where I am, so we play hide and seek around corners and he will scream at me for hiding from him.
QuincyBear is just a nutcase, he is a grumpy little <bleep> and lets everyone know it. But at night, he will come over to my side of the bed and cry his little heart out until I lift up the duvet and let him snuggle up under the covers.
