Thus the bell tolls for the end of the Liberal party... good news for Harper!
Justin is pretty, but has no sense, no leadership skills, and he is NOT his dad! This thread is currently associated with: BellLast edited by Natalka; Wed, Sep 26th, 2012 at 10:41 AM. Reason: made it clear which 'he' to whom I was referring

I agree and disagree. Definitely good news. I think a lot of people will vote for flash rather than substance while the people that vote for substance rather than flash will vote as we always have. Trudeau's flash will take the Liberals back to 2nd place and drop the NDP back to 3rd party where they belong. And we'll have another Conservative majority and another 4 years of responsible government.
This made my day.
Ta ta Mulcair.

I agree with you Dave - and I respond in a similar way to Patty's comments - nothing against him because of his age. Being a little smart and cute - hair, smile, charm - aren't all a leader needs. He's much more like his mother than his father.
One thing that's too bad, because of his 'rockstar'-ness, who the heck will both ponying up the money to run against him?
Wonder if PET's daughter's mom will still be running for the leadership?

I'm not a big fan if kids of elitists being handed the legacy of there mother or father. Especially one with big plans. If he runs, left wingers in the west especially will just keep voting NDP.

I can't speak for all if the West but left wingers in BC always vote NDP anyway. The fortunes of the Liberal party out here have little downside risk.
His fathers legacy may be an asset with some voters but with others it will be a negative that he will have to work hard to overcomeLast edited by DianneS; Wed, Sep 26th, 2012 at 01:07 PM. Reason: IPhone auto-correct !
