Its weird, I like the taste. Too bad there isn't something like it without all the caffeine.

I did a few experiments back a year or two ago in my research that I had to use powdered caffeine - it looked like cocaine (like all organic substances do really)... anyway, I always had this odd thought about what it'd be like to snort pure caffeine, Don't worry, I didn't do it.

The only time I have ever had an energy drink, back studying for a third year chemistry class - oh my gosh... it was about 11pm and I was crashing, so my friend was a "Red Bull Girl" (handed them out on campus/at events). All I know is that my mind was going like crazy but it felt like my body/limbs weighed 200 lbs each. It was such an odd disconnect. And there was no alcohol, just crazy amounts of caffeine.

Oy! I've never had an energy drink, but had an odd caffeine experience once.

I was at university, in a small residence, and was up in the wee hours of the morning writing an essay. My desk was at the back of the room, facing the rest of the room - and I looked up once and the carpet was undulating - it was mesmirizing, but very disconcerting and I got really scared because it felt so odd. I had been having cup after cup of instant coffee (could only have a kettle in our rooms), but don't know how much I had.
I just left everything and went to bed.

I had given up coffee (or rather, half-coffee, half hot chocolate, aka a mocha minus the frills)... but it crept back in, slowly.
My change purse and my body are both feeling it.

It's only 10am and already a crappy day.

I barely slept last night because of my throat, which seems to be getting worse. Then everytime I did fall asleep DD woke me up for ridiculous things (she couldn't find her stuffy, which was right beside her).

After I got the kids up eating breakfast I ran downstairs to get DD's knapsack (had to wash it yesterday) and I saw that the F'ING dog crapped on the carpet. So, I made sure to avoid it and stepped around it, except he pee'd also and I stepped in that. UGH. So, I had to clean all that. Annoying part is I let the dog out last night at 11pm. He'd never do that if DH was home - like NEVER EVER!

So, I clean and get the kids ready. Get to the preschool and DS literally throws up all over the front door. WTF? Seriously? He was perfectly fine all morning. Of course the daycare wont let him stay if he's sick so I got to pay $50 to take care of my own son for the day. YAY.

I decided all my other errands can wait but NF. Run to NF and they are sold out of 70% of the things I wanted to get.

Now we're back home and DH wont nap. Even though I know he's tired.

Please tell me this day is going to get better!!!!
