I've found some awesome Organic & Non Gmo products this past week which is rather exciting for me. Wow, I must lead a pretty boring life lol

And Patty those are some scary stats about diabetes. Sad indeed.

Wow great numbers for a short period of time. You know Lynn49 is also following a plant based diet(not 100% though I beleive). She has a thread also.

I am not surprised though there are many stories of a quick turn around on the Engine 2 Diet website as I posted in that link.

Since the information in Fork Over Knives is used as gospel to refrain from eating animal products, people should also be aware that the movie has its' pitfalls.

If you look under "For Vegans" tab on the blog, she also has guidelines that are a good idea to follow when eating vegan.

A website devoted to plant based nutrition and how it can help eliminate the need for medication and reverse some diseases.

    http://www.forksoverknives.com/

Has been shown to work well for diabetics.

Another website that I have gone to for info. Although I am not on the wheatgrass bandwagon myself. I know many who are and love it.

Face-lifts and hair-dye, and Photoshop work just as well. His wife has the tell-tale sign of face lifts. Her hair line is at least one inch higher than where it's supposed to be. No pulling of the skin there at all!

Tara, if you like smoothies, this is a good site for them:

Personally I try to limit them to about once a week because it is easier to absorb the carbs when the food is blended rather than whole but hey, some of them are good.

Did you read the whole thing? What does it say that doesn't fit with the discussion?

I meant the blog post, which I'm putting here for your convenience:

    http://rawfoodsos.com/2011/09/22/for...-and-critique/

It's an interesting read. The point she makes about the movie using historical data from Norway and attributing the reduction in death rates to a plant-based diet is very interesting. I like her explanation on correlations too.
