Buddy, if you could recieve a GC from any store.. what store would you want it to be to? (Please list a few options)

Walmart, Costco, SDM, Timmies, Starbucks, H&M, Old Navy, FreshCo, No Frills, etc..

I did meet with a surgeon to discuss a reduction. But, we agreed I should be at my goal weight for 1 year.

At my heaviest I was 350lbs+

I am now sitting around 230lbs-240lbs(depending on the week and what treats I allowed myself).... I know some people hate to discuss weight.. but to me, its just a number... its doesn't(or maybe I don't allow it to) define who I am. I believe that no matter what number is on the scale is doesn't stop me from being a friend, sister, daughter, auntie, wife, lover, couponer, etc

I would love to be sitting happily at 185ish. I will get there... I learned a looooooong time ago... slow and steady wins everytime.

Hubby and I have started the "clean eating"... not so much a diet.. but a different way to eat. We are trying to stick to lots of veggies, lean meat... some fruit.... and little carbs. BUT Sunday is our "whatever the heck we want to eat... we eat it day" And of course, we don't stress about Birthdays, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Etc.

we have a lot in common pumpkin...weight and boobs.I look at it as if you dont like the way i look...dont look lol. I eat alot of veggies and salads (I used to be vegetarian) but I found out I have a disorder in my white cells that doesnt allow much loss but I still try

Well, here's the update. I went for an ultrasound this afternoon and SURPRISE! I'm still pregnant! I'm scheduled to be induced on Saturday if nothing happens by then. Dr said it's best to get healthier before the baby comes/labour so I have as much energy as possible to evacuate this thing! Now we can tell our families that nothing's happening until Saturday and hope that they forget I could still go into labour naturally! Lol. First grand baby for 3 sets of parents (DH's are divorced) so the phones won't stop frigging ringing/vibrating at all hours of the day! They all mean well, but the phones have all been put on silent so I don't get too snarky with them! Lol

Pumpkin you have such a great attitude! I wish I could be the same.. I know I'm not overweight by most people's standards, but I'm very short at 5'2, and a very small frame.
I guess my biggest thing is I just don't feel comfortable in my own skin at my current weight. And I'm very upset I let myself gain this back after all the hard work it took to lose it. Ugh. I'd be happy just to lose 10lbs and drop a couple of sizes..
So.. another wishlist item for my buddy? Motivation.. I could use a truckload of that right about now!

I feel the exact same way. In the last little bit I've noticed my jeans are not fitting right. I'm vegetarian but have been eating way too much carbs because there easy to make, plus more junky food. Want to loose 15 pounds to get back to my normal weight of around 125. I'd love to put motivation on my wish list as well. Because once December rolls around I'll be done for with my Birthday and Xmas treats!!

Did anyone watch Arrow last night on CTV?

I had never heard of it before I watched it (but it happened to be the first episode), looks pretty good. It looks right up my alley of shows much to my hubby dismay lol All the show that I watch seem to get cancel (boo) and I need something to replace Terra Nova. I am still mad that they cancelled Jericho that was the best show ever. I love shows that make you think. I was a huge fan of Lost but was disappointed with the ending

I watched it last week. I think the regular night for it is wed? Looks good. All the good shows get cancelled. I used to watch Jericho and yes LOST but agree that the ending was bad.

Anyone watching 666 Park Ave. I know because I love it, it will be cancelled.

oh Pam.. man i know that feeling i 'accidently' told everyone my due date. it was off by a good 2.5 months. long story. so my phone did that the entire time.. i really hope everything goes as its supposed to and soon baby is in your arms.

sparkpeople.com is pretty awesome. I've never tried joining a group etc on there, but I'd be game for joining a FB one or something after. I just joined sparkpeople last year because there are a lot of tools and information on there, as well as motivation from others on the forum. They also have good ipad/bb apps...I dunno - it's been 10 months since I've looked at it for weight loss/control, but I still read a lot of the weekly articles they send on nutrition and stuff.
