^ That's right. In June, there was a "Super" SYP (spend your points) where 40,000 was $90 and 80,000 was $200.
The rumoured amount for the December 1st "Super," 95,000 = $210, would be smaller point value than June's "Super," so definitely not the biggest redemption event of the year, if it came to pass.Abuse coupons, not people!

wasn't there a redemption a while ago for $220 if you spend 95,000? so if the december redemption is the biggest of the year then i don't think it will be $210?

I never post on here. But I just asked my friend who is the manager at my local shoppers and he just emailed the promotion our store is having for dec1.
38000= $70
50000= $105
95000= $210
I'm not happy about it but this is what he says is happening.

I agree. Just have to readjust our thinking and start planning for this amount. Free is free and I will take it!

If the super redemption is only one day on Dec 1st - then it sounds like we are limited to two redemptions. Guess it wasn't so wise to have saved so many points for this.
Some people say you can do more than 2 redemptions per day but others say the system limits them. I'd be pretty red-faced to check through $250. of items then not to be able to check out!

Yesterday, I had 2 Pharmaprix employees bring me a little "gift" at work (a Pharmaprix coffee mug filled with perfume/cologne/cream samples). They went around to some of the local businesses as a thank you to those who patronize their store. When I asked them if they had details about a mega redemption, they both believed it would be held the second weekend in December.
I don't even know if I'll be doing a redemption because I find much better value for my points when I can combine great sales with coupons at other times of the year but....I sure am curious about what's coming up with all these speculations, lol.~RRLF $0.75 Organic Meadow, $1 Almond Fresh~

The best one they had so far was the 95,000 for $170, but get back $30,000 (so essentially 65,000 for $170). That comes out to $2.61 per 1000 points. 95,000 for $250 is $2.63 per 1000 points. The sales were horrible the last couple of years on mega redemption so way better off last time on the 65,000 --> $170.

I believe the best value for points is pretty subjective. It really depends on what a person/family needs and if those items are at better prices at other times of the year. There's no point in me spending 95 000 points on groceries at full price if I can get them at regular redemption at 1/4 the regular price

This is why I prefered to go one cycle at the time.
rack the pts to 95K and spend it when you need for item you need at the price you want to pay!
95k pts/170$ with great flyers deals + managers deals + coupon available at that time of the year could give you more stock andproduct than 95K pts on super/mega whatever at 200/250$ on a crappy flyer deals for your family.Liberty of one finish where liberty of the other one start
