Morning Everyone!
Thought I'd pop in quickly, while online. Need to find a baby fence.
We're going to have to put our tree up early (this weekend) so I need to find a baby fence to keep DS away from it. He's such a dare devil! The tree would be knocked over daily. lol

DH is off at a meeting.
He got the call yesterday afternoon for another job. He's only been home about 5 weeks and now he's leaving again.
Not sure when he's leaving, I'm just PRAYING it's Sunday. I need time to finish some things before he leaves.
At least with this job they will be flying him straight from our city to the job site and back. 14 days on, 7 days off.
It's better than the last job (22 days on, 10 days off and he drove the 12-14 hours each way) but still pretty upset he's going, especially right before Christmas.

coyote, it's lovely! I love the blue bows, they look so nice against the green!
lola - great that your husband got another job, just too bad he has to be away.... but at least he'll be flown, that's good!
Hey, hon, better than a layoff just before Christmas - that happened to my husband one too many times....
My son got laid off yesterday, has only another week to work. He's not happy, he loves it there, but it's been slow...
Bonus for him, he's not living on his own - we shall care for him!!!
He's a busy bee, though - is already looking for something, but knows it's going to be tough this time of year. He'll even be looking for just labourer work (he's been in mechanics).

We were hoping for a job in the area but there doesn't seem to be any.
We can't turn the job because we need the money so he has to go. It's just been a rough year with him being gone so much! Before our kids he NEVER had to travel, there was always work but since our kids were born it seems like he's gone so much. Just sucks timing wise.
He went to get his resume done professionally the other day (cost $175!) so we're hoping he can get into a maintenance type job. MUCH less money but it's easier work, he's at home and he'll get sick days and vacation time and of course it's permanent (no worries of when he's going to get laid off next). *fingers crossed* something opens in the new year and he gets a job here!
But on the positive side, it could be worse. He's supposed to be home on the 24th so at least he'll still be home for Christmas!

Glad I am not the only person having issues with the laundry and hoovering today too. I think the dishes are going to join in too. Oh well, I will just do my nails, have a couple cups of tea and ignore their blatant disregard for my authority.
So sorry about your son Nat. It is crummy when they do those things right before Christmas....at least he has good family to support him
Love like crazy everyday and smile.
