Abby, you're a heck of a lot stronger than I am- when I had strep I don't think I dragged my butt out of bed for days!

Sorry to hear Abby! Hope your items sell.
DH just got back from buying a baby fence from kijiji. $40 for a 6-12ft fence. Now I won't have to worry about DS knocking the tree over. lol

Off to watch tv and chill for a bit. Big day tomorrow, going to the woods to find our tree and haul it home. Getting excited!

We are going on Saturday (if it does not rain) to get our tree
. The boys love it! So does our dog
It makes me sad that it maybe the last one we get as a family

Morning all. It's going to be another warm sunny day here today, so off to the gym this morning, the dh and I are going to head to the pool, get a bit of swimming in and soak up some sunshine for an hour or so
We all need a little sunshine every now and then

Good morning, all!

Holly, that sounds heavenly!
Gee, I thought I was in the wrong house this morning - woke up, went into the hallway, and it was WARM - very odd for this time of year. Turns out that it's only -6, so the house isn't freezing (even though we keep the thermostat at 20, it's a very old house and gets cold).
Last evening, we got our 'new-to-us' tv brought in - wowsers, it's huge - especially compared to the 20" we have! It's a 36" Sony Wega. Luckily we have a large living room, but it's going to take a while to get used to it. Son still needs to tweak some settings on it, so hopefully we won't be stuck using two remotes (what a pain).
Funny part from last night - I wasn't in the living room when my son and a friend he works with brought the tv in. So I go in to the living room, and there's my husband speaking a language I've never heard him speak (a bit of a shock for me!) to this guy. Turns out that even if you haven't spoken Serbo-Croatian for 30 years, you can slip back into it! LOL, my husband said it really wasn't that easy, he had to keep translating from English in his head. My son's friend has been here not long from Croatia, and was a bit surprized when my husband greeted him in his own language - and they chatted away.
Hope everyone has a good day, and I sure hope those of you who are sick are on the mend. My cold is a lot better; the rest of me, not so much yet....

G'Morning everybody! Kiddo's were up at 6:30, I woke up at 5:45 when the TV went haywire because my hubby was lying on the remote. Behaviouralist this morning, then maybe some grocery shopping this afternoon if my daughters are in a good mood... which I'm not counting on! My daughter needs a pretty set routine, and this morning will be out of the norm so she'll probably be off all day.
Hope everybody has a great day!My blog : Please join us as we talk about our journey, trials and triumphs with Autism!

I like the fact that you still put a happy face at the end of all that. Reminds me of a friend of mine that I used to work with at the travelodge. I would notice as I walked in to work sometimes she would be crying and was having a really bad day. As soon as she saw me she would smile. With others she would sometimes get b*tchy but never around me lol.
