Yesterday it was 81 and really sunny, we stopped in Kingsville Texas for the night. Today is suppose to be more of the same, we should be in Mission Texas this afternoon

More rain today It's extremely warm for this time of the year which only complicates things with the rain. The humidity is insane, and NOT good for this old bod. I've convinced dh to go to Texas so I think we will head out on Monday. Still in a drought there so very little humidity. And besides.... I miss my friends. When you only get to see them in the winter months, I would feel terrible if we didn't get to visit this year.

It's going to be in the low 80's again here (we are just south east of tampa), with occasional rain showers, then looks like rain stops and forecast is for high 70's to low 80's through Sunday with lots of sun

Yesterday a record was broken here in Mission, it was suppose to go to 84, and it did in most places in the lower Rio Grande Valley, but here in Mission and in McAllen, it was 89 and nothing but sun Only bad part, I didn't leave my bed. I'm coming down with something

Today is going to be cooler 72, for the next 2 or 3 days, just enough time for me to get better Nice and warm for Christmas day too, so far

HQ - love your Texas weather forecasts. We visited there for 39 days in March 2011, I won a 9 day trip with hotels in Houston, St Antonio, Austin and Dallas and we extended the trip at our expense. Great birding there, saw whooping cranes near Rockport.

1 p.m. here and it's only gotten to -24, I don't even want to know the windchill.
Bonus is the full sun - it looks beautiful out there.

Husband had no heat in van, so couldn't take it to work this morning, it kept icing up from his breathing. Son took him into work.
I guess I know what they will be doing this evening...
