Average hourly rate in Ontario is $25 - 40.
Some companies charge by the job, not the hour. Average is $75 - $140 in Ontario (for a job that would take 3 - 4 hours)

We have had it for years and love it, although I also have cable...With out the cable, our internet average was 86 gigs a month using netflix only (doesn't matter now b/c we have unlimited, but it did then!)
If you do get it, go on you tube and search "US netflix in Canada" . Just follow the simple instructions, and you can have the american netflix (Which is INCREDIBLE in comparison to the Canadian one)!

thanks I figured it would be somewhere up there for the house cleaning/organizing. It's not for mine. The kidlets that I watch have the most disasterous apartment ever! There mum who doesn't want to do it herself, offer to pay me to do it. I think I am going to do. Not sure when I am starting as I have the kidlets FULL days this Thursday, Friday and then again Monday and Tuesday when their mum goes out of the country on business.

will have to check the US Netflix thing out. Does it work if you already have Netflix? (Haven't watched it yet as my Internet is going really slow today). Probably just going go with my dad's or without.

Julia? I know you guys have a newer Samsung but dunno if it's a "smart tv". If it is, you can connect to the internet and netflix on it. If not, you can install the app on your ipad, and get the cord to connect your ipad to the tv...we did this and use it when we want to watch netflix in the bdrm and it works like a charm. Cord was around $50 I think from apple.

Went to Old Navy this morning and score some awesome deals on kids clothes (for DD & her cousin). They currently have clearance items up to 75% off! Got 4 long sleeve shirts, 1 fleece hoodie, 1 pair of cargo pants, 1 pair pj pants & 8 pairs of socks for $33.42 with tax!!! Two of the tops rang up at $0.47, awesome sauce!
