    Never to old!

Besides, in reality, retirment age will probably expand 4 - 5 years once they change it, and they will. I think you should go for it! Yahoo!!

I think it is working for Canada Customs.

frugal, you can do anything you set your mind to...there will be rigorous Federal exams to pass during the application process.

it's Canadian Boarder Security, there site didn't seem to rigourous except that you must pass a firearm test and work shifts and able to relocate anywhere in Canada.

Yeah, Border Security is what I was getting at. I still think it's working for the feds, and you would need to do the tests. Let me know if I am wrong.

Considering that's it's similar to being a police officer, I would think trying out at 50 is ambitious unless you're in very good shape mentally and physically. As well, as a new recruit, you don't have any say over where you'd be posted.

I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.

Second thoughts over the being posted anywhere? Or the physical part? I commend you for even considering a change, at 50 many feel they are better off staying where they are, you know safer. Well whatever you decide I am sure it will be exciting, as a change usually is!
