I could scream at the Brick.

Still getting no where with our broken couch.

Less than a year old and it's broken. Call and they said it could take 2 weeks for a tech to make arrangements to look at it. Sure enough on the 10th day, he calls and scehdules an appointment.

Shows up 20 minutes late and says there's no way he can fix it. They will replace it. They may take up to 10 days to contact us.

It's been 10 days today so I call. The woman says they have a 3 week period for them to decide what they will do? WTH? What was the tech for? She said he just gives them a better idea of the problem but doesn't get to decide if it's repaired or replaced.

Now I have to wait until Feb 21st just to decide what they want to do. And then I'm guessing a few weeks more depending on that decision.

Seriously? 2 months with a broken couch we cannot use when it's less than 1 year old. Nice warranty.

I bought the extended warranty from them.
the back frame of the chair broke, and the fabric was worn on the couch.
they refused to replace the set because there was a claw mark in it.
i will not buy from them again.

yeah, kids dont listen hehe. our sectional upstairs gets used and abused so much by my 2. no matter how many times i scream/yell/beg them not to use it as their own personal trampoline i still catch them on there doing sumersaults, upside down hand stands yaddayadda.

Well at least I got laundry and dishes done today.

Not really energetic to do much else. lol. Trying to work up to heading outside... Although I'm going to wait until this afternoon. it's still snowing so much...

i'd really love to catch up on laundry but must wait til off peak hours. so tonite and tomorrow i'll tackle all that. just find it rediculous that by next week all of this snow will be gone anyway. too much fuss for nothing.

i'd really love to catch up on laundry but must wait til off peak hours. so tonite and tomorrow i'll tackle all that. just find it rediculous that by next week all of this snow will be gone anyway. too much fuss for nothing.

Do you have a lot of snow?

I get that we live in Canada and should be used to it, but here it's not worth dragging the kids out in it (and shovelling of course) to go to a school that's going to be pretty much empty.

The plow just finally came through so the roads are drive-able now, before you couldn't see them at all...

When I looked out this morning I couldnt even see the snow piles from the last few times I shovelled. It's just a sea of white. lol.

Not going to bother shovelling. Will snow blow this afternoon to cut down on the time outside and away from the kidlets.

our schools are closed. but we got maybe 10 MAYBE 10 cms.. we have plows coming in as well. its not alot here.. we had a HUGE one years ago like 3-4 feet.. now that was snow.. anyway pms is rearing its ugly head..i'll go play nicely in the corner.

Happy Friday to you all. Still truckin' on in my recovery. Really only been just 3 days since, but I'm not doing too bad I don't think. Managed to eat 3 diced up hot dogs last night, as well as a pancake soaked with butter & syrup! I am seriously contemplating going out of the house tonight. Hockey game, nationally televised, been looking forward to it for a while. I'd be getting a drive right to the door, going right to my seat, drive right from the door after the game. Am I crazy to think I can do this?

No worries. I was just curious.

Here I'd say we have about 15-20 cm but with snow drifts some places it's much more and it's still coming down.

I just attempted to shovel the back deck but gave up after only half of it. lol. It's so thick and heavy! PITA.

Glad to hear your recovery is going well.

I dont think you're crazy at all. May as well be out doing what you like. Just take it easy and dont over strain yourself.

The snow is really starting to come down now. Buses were canceled. I never make DS go, but then again I don't work. If I was working he would probably have to go.

Three people were supposed to come today to pick up some things I'm selling but they canceled, not that I blame them... just upset that I won't have as much money as I thought for tomorrow LOL

Ugh, some woman keeps messaging me on FB saying that we went to school together, and she wants to add me as a friend... I don't remember her and my best friend doesn't either, and she knows everybody LOL. Freaky people
