You can scan the weekly specials to earn their bonus points, there's also an easy 20 pts for checkins at grocery stores, you also get 3 points for each item you rate and post on twitter or Facebook, and one point for each item you rate without posting to Facebook or twitter. Sometimes too, while scanning you'll win the lottery and have a chance to earn up to 50pts on your next scanned product.

So its not to hard to rack up the points if you explore all of these. Referrals help too, if anyone would like to use my referral please PM me as I don't think we are allowed to post it here.

Is there a trick to scanning? It has only ever worked twice for me. Every other time I get a message that says "Tap Barcode to Focus" and it just sits there and nothing happens. I'm using an iPad 2. Thanks for any help/suggestions.

If you are using an iPad, make sure you scan in a room that is fully lit or has a lot of light. For some reason, it scans a lot easier when you have a lot of light. Hope this helps.

I think there limit is usually a week when you hit a limit. No sure, but you can send them a PM through FaceBook. They usually are pretty quick to respond.
