I started using the app this morning and less than an hour later I redeemed for a $5 Amazon card!

My best tip would be to go scan the featured items and check in to the store while you're at it. Then afterwards, rate each of the featured items and you gain loads of points just for rating them!

This is a little too good to be true. I guarantee they'll change it so you actually have to buy the item to get the points.

I think so too. That's why I am redeeming my points right away. This is a great app, and it's really addicting! lol

Is there a trick to scanning? It has only ever worked twice for me. Every other time I get a message that says "Tap Barcode to Focus" and it just sits there and nothing happens. I'm using an iPad 2. Thanks for any help/suggestions.

Just an update to my original post. Thanks for the suggestions. I think the problem is with my iPad. I tried it on my son's iPad which is newer than mine and it works great. I can't believe how easy the scanning process is and how quickly it recognizes the bar code on his iPad. I'm loving this app now.

Reminds me a bit of the Neilson Home Scan program but waaaaaaaay better and so are the rewards.

I scanned some of the bonus items yesterday when I was waiting for a prescription to be filled. When I scanned the Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate the app told me that it was not a food item. When I scanned the Teriyaki Stir-Fry Sauce it told me I had discovered a new item and got me to take a picture. What is up with that?

I had the exact same issue with the Baker's Chocolate. The Uncle Ben's rice wouldn't scan either. Must be glitches.

The gift cards for Subway, Swiss Chalet/Montana's/etc.. are they physical cards, or will I have to print them?

The subway and gas cards get mailed to you and the rest are emailed to you ( this is what I heard)

Emailed freshpoints about the issue with the bakers chocolate, also had a problem with the carnation choc milk mix. Wouldnt give me my bonus points, only 2 points for it.... Ill let ya'll know what they say when/if they email back.

Sounds kind of good BUT I don't have an iphone and I am not going to buy one. Also I don't want to go over my data plan with it.

I will stick to scanning my reciepts to checkout51...
