Gotta love Value Village 50 percent off days if it's your cup of tea. I spent four hours at the St. Catharines store. Yes, hours : ) . The store was busy but I took my time and relaxed and looked. Spent 78 bucks with tax, but thought I did ok. I am a pretty particular shopper even if thrift stores but I purchased: 1 Ralph Lauren Business Suit for $15, 1 Mexx Suit for $10, 1 Mexx dress shirt for $6.50, 1 Odel dress shirt for $6.50 (new tags on), 1 R&R button down for my step father for $4 (new tags on), 2 pair of Kenneth Cole black dress pants for $10, 1 pair Calvin Klein boot cut jeans $6.50, 1 wide brown leather belt $4, 1 large oil painting for my niece $5.99, 3 pair black tights for my other niece for $2 ( brand new in package). The Ralph Lauren suit will cost a few bucks to alter to a euro fit but well worth it still. All in all a nice shop. va

Wow - awesome deals. I spent a lot of hours at VV too but didn't find so much this time. Was looking for things mostly for my mom.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I try to have a good eye for things. I always make a point to stop and look at the art work as you never know what you will find. I do take a look at the ladies stuff for my Mom as well Giving-Small but never much luck. You can score some real coups in the men's suits. A few extra bucks for tailoring and no one would ever know.
