Good morning holly! Are you on the road today?

It's going to be nice to have my husband and son home today - an extra day is always nice.
However, it's so very odd to not be celebrating Easter when everyone else is... I don't like it when they are the farthest apart of the five week cycle.

No Nat, we're finally back home. I missed my family so much, I don't think I'm going next year, don't have a good feeling about things. Had an appointment with my Dr yesterday and my Oncologist next week already. I'm actually quite shocked that they were able to get me an appointment so quickly. I was thinking more like a few months down the road, that's been the norm anyways. But, I'm so happy to be home and be with our family this Easter as we are typically away for Easter. So I know exactly how you must feel with dh away. Hope you are still able to enjoy the holiday.

Funny thing too the hotel was trying to get a hold of me to give my old job back but it would be back to nights only. I told them thanks but I found a job.

Sat going to cousins place for fish fry, probably be about 20 people there and they'll pick me up.

morning all..busy weekend here, today is Good Friday.. mass/poor man's lunch. cleaning of house. packing up more donations.
tomorrow is Easter vigil mass.. get a few groceries.
Sunday were doing Easter brunch and then not sure if were doing dinner at my Mom's if not I have a turkey all set. (yes hubby requested turkey)
Monday were heading to Talize (50% off day) then Dh starts his new shift at work Monday night..
im going to be exhausted.


Holly Im so sorry hun to here things are not looking well for you, you guys sounded like you enjoyed your vacation but i can understand how health and spending time with family is so important.

Well it's off to start cooking for dinner....So you know where I'll be for the next couple of hours...yes the kitchen...but it's fine. I like days like these when I can cook for my family and we can just sit, eat, talk and enjoy each other....

I guess I am wanted lol. Holiday inn express just called for interview. But only for straight nights. Too bad they didnt call earlier I might have taken it right away. However since its only nights and I already have new job starting Monday I had to say no.
