Forgot to mention - I tried two ice cream flavours there that I will never try again - creamed corn ice cream and chocolate chili ice cream. Eww to the first and too hot to the second, LOL.
My DH liked the Maple Bacon too! I'm just not a fan of maple anything and bacon in ice cream just seems wrong. I am not adventurous enough to try the unusual flavours, I stick to what I know. My DH will try any of them which is ironic since it's almost impossible to get him to try any other new foods

But of course my dear Cowgirl here you go and I will bring a jar to the corner. I do use dark chocolate from Planet Organic instead of semi sweet.

    Clean Eating Nutella
    (Makes approximately 28 ounces)
    Ingredients:

    1-1/2 cups hazelnuts
    6 ounces Baker’s Unsweetened Chocolate (6 squares)
    3/4 cup honey
    4 tablespoons safflower oil
1/2 cup almond milk (or milk of choice I used light silk)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (I used organic Vanilla from Costco )
    Directions:

Place the hazelnuts on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees F. for about 15 minutes. The flesh should be a nice golden brown and the skins should be closer to black in color.
Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
Put the hazelnuts on a dish towel and rub until the skins come off. You may need to help some of them along with your hands, but most of the skins should come off with the towel.
Put the hazelnuts in a food processor and blend until you have a nut butter consistency. It may not be perfectly smooth, but you’ll know it when you see it. It takes a few minutes in the processor, so just keep blending.
While the hazelnuts are in the processor, put the chocolate squares in a bowl and microwave for about 3 minutes. Stir, and then continue to microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each one, until the chocolate is melted.
Stop the processor and add the chocolate, then the honey and oil. Mix as much as you can. The mixture will be very thick, so it may put a little bit of strain on your mixer. At that point, start adding your milk slowly, a little at a time.
Lastly, add the vanilla extract and blend for a few moments more just to combine everything really well.
Transfer the nutella to a jar and store in the fridge. It will get thick like peanut butter does when it’s cold.
NOTE: After having this for a few days, I can give a little feedback on how it keeps. Once it’s been in the fridge, it gets pretty thick. Kind of like peanut butter that has had the oil poured off. But it still spreads pretty well.
Also, once it’s been in the fridge, be sure you keep it there. Don’t leave it out again for a while before putting it back in the fridge. It gets a bit “grainy”.

They went on a 1 week boat trip to & around various islands in the Galapagos. One small semi deserted sandy island had an 18th century barrel on it that was used in the time of pirates/back in the day as a mail box of sorts. When a ship came by they would leave mail in the barrel & then the next ship would pick up some or all of the mail if it was for somewhere they were heading! Well the barrel is still there & people still use it! You can put in mail & remove some if its going to where you are going! BUT it must be hand delivered! Totally Awesome Part 1) my Dad & sister put in a postcard for ME! Totally Awesome Part 2) they took a letter for someone in Penetanguishene because I go there frequently to visit my inlaws! Awesomesauce I get to deliver it next weekend! Apparently the box has a pretty high turn over rate because it wasnt very full & the Pentang letter is dated February of this year!
That is seriously one of the coolest stories I've heard in a long time!

I almost might go buy myself another pair even though I am not pregnant because I have searched high and low for another pair of capri jeans and none of them fit right - since my second child I still have not lost the baby weight (2yrs now ) so I am not sure, gonna go out when I get my income tax back a buy some new bigger clothes other than maternity wear

I occassionally shop at Thyme too.... I HATE when they ask me how far along I am, but I guess that's the price I pay to get a shirt that fits right. (I have an abnormally long torso). I bought a plain black swimsuit there and I love it

I have a question about skin.
Since 2008 I have lost a substantial amount of weight. I had went from 300lbs down to 190, got pregnant with DS and went back up to 260. I am currently sitting right below 200 and I am REALLY not happy with my skin. It is saggy and wrinkly, and I just have no idea what to do. I have been hitting the gym trying to tighten and tone everything, but nothing is helping. The tummy skin I could definantly deal with but I have about 2 inches of skin hanging from my arms and my thighs are droopy.

    Advice?! Please!!
Try taking fish oil..... the good stuff found in health food stores.

Way to go! I am in the same boat, I was 245 after dd #2, lost 90 pounds, diagnosed with FM and Myofacial pain 10ish years ago and have slowly but surely gone back up and beyond to 330. Now on my way back down, low 200's would be good by me. Today I am officially down 30 pounds. only 100 to go! bahahahaha.

Then she said, I could have given her $6.15. So I said fine, give me my change back (two dimes). I then asked her to exchange them for 4 nickels and gave her three. She still insisted I owed her $6.20. Really? OK fine, I gave her all 4 damn nickels and then she gave me three pennies change. What? I went through all that and she had pennies. Good grief. LOL

The two little old ladies behind me were LAUGHING at the whole stupidity of it. I know it was only 2 cents, but it was the principal. If she rips off a nickel from 10 people a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year ... that's a lot of money!
That is too funny, sounds like something that would happen here in small town NS.

So youngest dd is slamming and banging around this morning because I won't let her stay home from school.... hubby and I were trying to remember the last week that she actually went all 5 days. So standing firm on this one. I am the boss right? If she slams the car door when she gets out at school I may lose it all together.... I HATE that.

AND.... my fever the other day left me with a loverly goiter developing on my lip that feels like an asteroid. I am going to call it a fever blister instead of a cold sore. Do any of the drug store things work? It's been over 10 years since I had one of these.

Michaels - would love some cake decorating things too - basic icing tip set? icing bags, fondant molds?

MSM - it's a supplement that helps your collagen (I think that's the right one) repair and tighten up. When I tried the HCG diet it was recommended because you lose weight so fast your skin can become saggy, it worked very well, course then I went back to a crappy diet and gained all the weight back (can't say no to pizza!). I got mine on Well.ca

Morning ladies - chatty group! I only had 5 pages to catch up on this morning though The weather is nice and sunny, but still colder than I would like.

I can't wait to get my buddy and a list, I want to shop! And I'm trying to stick to my budget so not shopping for me Shopping for someone else is ok of course lol. I am also putting my son on an allowance, we'll see how long it takes him to "get it" but I'm tired of having to buy him something every time we go to the store, so he'll get $2 a week and he can get what he wants or save up for something bigger. I am hoping it'll teach him what money is worth, and save having to buy him stuff all the time... wish me luck though. I have that disease where I can't say no to my kid

So, if anyone has joined this train and DOES NOT see their name on the list in the second post, could you please let me know?

Also, if you have requested to send to a particular buddy and you DO NOT see a cocktail glass beside their name, let me know.

    Thanks!

Boarding closes, officially, tomorrow morning, but we are dangerously close to the full capacity of 40 riders, so it might close a little sooner----remember the sooner everyone gets their wishlists in, the sooner I can distribute them and we can stop shopping for our buddies!

Sounds absolutely yummy! My crazy daughter wanted me to buy the ridiculous $40 jar of Nutella at Costco on Saturday! That thing was bigger than my head!
