How wonderful and great that she wanted to do that!
I do it every few years - I'm due for another cut and donation as soon as I get brave enough - my hair is more than halfway down my back.

Nothing silly about it walkonby! You raised a wonderful daughter as generous as her mother. Just thinking about a child with cancer is making me very sad. Your DD's gift is very precious to a little girl fighting a terrible disease. Brags like yours inspire and motivate others to follow. Love it and thank you for sharing.

Well, I must say thanks to all who posted here, it really does make you see that even though we might think we have nothing to offer others, turns out we do after all. As my DD walks past me I am still doing a double take, who is that stranger with the short bob? lol Thanks again everyone.

Yes Walkonby that is a wonderfull brag. It brought tears wen i read it but they were good tears. I have a sister with Musculare Distrophy and she does this every year for the last 10 years. She as a hard time to walk and talk but for her that is her mission and she does this with the Fier fighters. They love her and they go and get her at my mothers place with there truck and that make's her very happy. I think that people that do that are very courageous. So, yea, tell your DD that we are proud of her like you are proud of her and thank you for sharing such a nice story........................

I'm so proud of all of you who donate in this way! It's humbling to think that you are all thinking of others every time you brush your hair! Walks, that's one terrific girl you've got there! Thanks for sharing!
