Nothing new today. The one little one maybe a little smaller than the others. Momma is certainly busy finding those chomped up bugs and worms. oooops just as I'm typing momma chased a very loud bird away from the nest. You GO GIRL!

Not a good picture today. The one (Tiny) does seem weaker than the others. When I went out first, the other two were eagerly reaching up for food and s/he was struggling to do so. In this picture, they're all lying intertwined. Momma was squawking at me from the fence, so I quickly took a pic and then exited.

All three are getting so big! Momma has gotten used to us being on the deck and will feed them while we are there. Interesting side bar. When the babies poop - it comes out in a roundish kind of ball. The momma picks it up and carries it away. (I just KNEW you wanted to know that!)
Another baby robin landed on the railing of our porch beside me yesterday - complete with speckled chest. Obviously there is another next of babies around here somewhere.
This afternoon one of the babies had 1 end of a worm down it's gullet and another one had the OTHER end of the SAME worm. I came inside and got a pair of scissors and clipped it for them. Problem solved.
When momma comes near with food the babies CHEEP, and CHEEP. Our poodle just stands there with his head cocked. He can't figure it out. Momma doesn't trush HIM though - she always flies away and the cheeping stops

Aw.....I'm so happy to see that all 3 of them have made it this far... how that next can contain them right now is a wonder, isn't it? Does anyone know how long it takes from hatching to flying?
Your cutting the worm story is amazing.....too precious!!!!
