Some changes today:

- Facebook Connect should be working again.
- Fixed a bug where registration form wouldn't render correctly.
- Couple of implementations for future spam prevention improvements.

May be a little less active over the next couple of days, have a few personal issues which I need to tend too. Other than that, PM me if you encounter anything that needs my attention, I'll keep an eye on this thread whenever I can for the next few days but PMs will be the best method of contact if its urgent. Hope you all understand .

Is there a way that you can link a "admn/mod group" to the pm system?

Sometimes it's quicker to send a pm to the mods for action but I have trouble remembering all thier names properly...and some reports need to acted on more quickly than others.

Any mod can deal with issues. A PM to me last night did no good since I was not at a computer nor checking emails. We see that there are new reports when we log in

Also find with the new emotions if you use them it throws of the size,font,color you are using resets to default one after using

Sorry guys, personal life hasn't been at its best so I was away as I mentioned. I'll work on the spam issues today alongside FP. I understand the spam is getting unacceptable and I will do what I can to stamp it out. I apologise for my absence.

I'm not sure how vBullitun works, but some forum software, restrictions on privileges can be restricted until you have a number of posts. If posting images is one of those privileges that can be restricted, might not be a bad idea to restrict that, if they are posting images.

Otherwise, I think the midnight spam is to be expected, and to be honest, it really is not that bad IMO.

Thankfully they are not posting images..just links..and it's not just midnight spam. There's spammers putting out 20-30 posts in an half hour time frame during the day.

There really is no way to prevent all spam unless you had someone working full time, manually checking every single account, and that is just not a reality. To be honest, considering how popular this forum is, I am surprised there is not more. Glad they are not posting graphic images, they do that on other sites.

I'm aware of the spam problem and I am doing my best to stamp it out. I will be implementing changes to prevent them. If you come across a spam thread, be sure to report it so moderators can take care of it.
