Weevils? They can get in the packages!?! Would putting the in a vacuum bag sealer fix that or is the jar the only way? I've never seen bugs in my stockpile....maybe I need to investigate!

I can spaghetti sauce...about 60 to 80 big jars a year. I started after reading the salt content in bought jars. Ditto for baked beans...do my own now in the crockpot!

Yes, I agree with everyone's comments on here. Firstly, your bought stockpile is very good. But what stands out for me is not only the couponed part of your stockpile, but all the labour and love you put into all your homemade canned products.

I suspect you are, and rightly so, you should be extremely proud of all your hard earned work both financially and physically.

Thank you for your post, makes a lot of your viewers' mouths water. Lovely work.
