Im seriously open to doing a baking train after summer when the weather is cool enough to send baked goods without worrying that they will melt or spoil!

And Pammie.. watch out, canning can get addictive. I started with Salsa, then Jams, then Pickles, then bought a pressure canner and have done the infamous "Bacon Jam", beans of all kinds, and am gearing up towards pasta sauce.. I have a garden of veggies planted so will be doing some pressure canning there too! Also going to try my hand at pie fillings come apple season, if I can get my hands on some of that clear gel.. Yep.. I sound like Fannie Farmer, but... I suck at sewing, knitting and the like.. zero talent!

hehe I started with salsa then last year did beets/apple sauce/borscht/spaghetti sauce/salsa/peaches/pears and crushed tomatoes lol deff addicting !!

Anyone else find it funny we haven't even started opening gifts on this one, and we're already thinking ahead to the next package train? We are totally obsessed girls!

First etsy order arrived! Still waiting on well.ca to even ship my order and it's irking me. I ordered Tuesday for goodness sake, takes them a week to ship things? Honestly. I have a few more etsy orders on the way, but they were shipped right away. Even two chapters orders for my boy arrived already and they were ordered Thursday and Friday! I am thinking I won't be ordering from well.ca again any time soon.

Visitation for my son will be one of the topics I will broach with momma at our meeting. They are both young and so much drama. Both are going to need to wake up soon because baby will be here in August.

Here are my tips:

1. Always play swagbucks tv in another window while I am on the computer (you can get up to 120 bucks a day however you need to constanly click to get to the new video. That said you really only need to play about 30 secs of each befor it credits you, so I switch then.

2. Always check your surveys and peanut lab surveys a few times a day. They pop up randomly

3. Play games up to 10 points a day. i just play for a few secs on each game and then let the time run out. It will award you 2 points for every second game

4. Do searches randomly throughout the daya. Search wins can sometimes be huge

5. I have entered several liited entry draws for Amazon cards (there is no guarantee but I have lucked out here and there.

6. Watch for swag codes for free points (Fallen has a Swag thread and they are usually posted in there)

7. Meet your daily goals cause at the end of the month they credit you an extra 400 swagbucks and daly bonuses

Update on my first Grandbaby

I have been reluctant to share but, here it is. My son and girlfriend have gone their seperate ways..... with very little chance of reconciliation. There is also now some question as to wether or not he is the father due to some infidelty. She admittedly told me that she said this to my son because she wanted to end the relatonship and does not want any custody issues with regards to the baby.....

I am at a crossroads because if that is my grandchild , I very much want to be a part of his/her life and the mother's as well. I had a feeling they would not last which is why I was so hesitant to discuss the matter at any great length.

I have corresponded with the momma to be and let her know that no matter what I wish her well and if the child is my son's I really want to be a part of their lives. She assures me that the child is my son's and that I am most welcome to be a part however; she wants no involvent with my grandbaby and my son.

My husband and other two children think I am beng taken for a ride and worried that I will become very attached. I don't blame them for their concern however; not to be a part of potentially my first grandbaby's life would be devestating for me.

I can't very well demand paternity testing wthout getting the moma's back up against the wall.

I will be attending an ultrasound with her on the 20th and maybe then we can speak more candidly.

Quite the dilema here.

BIG HUG COYOTE. I don't know what I would do if I was in your shoes but we are here to support. I'm sorry you have to go through this.

If we did do a baking exchange, you mentioned you bottled tomatoes and things, It wouldnt be a bad idea to have bakers up against canners or crafters or ( insert talent ) that way the people who bake can trade their items for other things..... I bake a lot, but I'm not overly crafty and I don't really do canning or jellies or things like that so I would be thrilled to send cookies and chocolates etc in return for things like that

And for those who don't bake or can or do crafts, baking supplies and bakeware etc would be a good trade off

Ugh, just got off the phone with my MIL (been avoiding her calls all weekend, just wasn't in the mood to talk her, told hubby she called but he didn't call her back, so I don't feel bad). She wants to see us for Father's Day (yaa *insert sarcasm here*) told her its up to hubby, he picks what we do as its his day. She also wants to take us to African Lion Safari for DD's birthday gift & she wants to pay for DD & hubby (gee thanks). Then she also wanted to tell me that she was upset that I didn't invite her to the zoo for Hannah's birthday (it was Friday & she works) & annoyed I went with my parents (ummm, incase you don't remember lady DD was born on my mum's birthday, so it was a birthday trip for both of them & they are both retired).
