Nope no pkgs today but I did get Hailey and i's kiddie chopsticks we are both hopeless with chopsticks and I had sent juilejolies little girl some of these at Christmas so I got some for us. They have a piece that attaches at the top so they work like a hinge.

those chopsticks are awesome! Thank you again! Maile's using them all the time and I'm always getting compliments on how cute they are when we go out to eat

oh and I received Iced Coffee K-kups sample in the mail....funny don't remember ordering them....

Has anyone's baby gotten dry skin patches from sunscreen?

Zachary (who is 3) gets dry patches and his excema flares up from most sunscreen. We recently tried the Glaxal base sunscreen and it made it a billion times worse. For the most part we use the Baby Aveeno and it isn't too terrible.

I just found out that the Avon line for kids doesn't contain some super-long word that other sunscreen for babies/kids has. There is also an organic line that doesn't contain this super-long-scary word (that I can't remember).

I asked my dr. about these patches and he wasn't very helpful---basically said not to use sunscreen and to dress him in long shirts all summer.

Sorry about the wrapping, I suck at it, Christmas time in our house everythign is in bags! LOL There are a few things in there I was like how in the world am I going to wrap this. Could you check the bottom gift thou? I have no idea what I numbered it but its bigger rectangle.. It was breakable too I hope it made it there in one piece

Ha and I know it was heavy!! I had to take my sons wagon when I went to mail it (I walk to the mail every day) and there was NO way I was carrying that

Are you kidding me? It's a wonderful wrapping job!!!!! It's so CHRISTMAS-Y!!!!!! I'm just getting the kids' supper ready, but as soon as I do that, I'll go down and check to make sure things are in one piece---I'm sure everything is fine. I don't know how you managed to stuff everything into that box, but I was packed in there pretty well

omg on the topic of kids sunscreen, I was so upset last week! I bought banana boat sunscreen, the "tear free" kind....... So I put it on Chance, sprayed it on his body then used my hands to put it on his face, all of a sudden he screams in pain! His eyes were swelling and turning blood red. We put him in the bath and flushed his eyes for about half hour and he still wasn't able to open them

i called the company and they said " it's chemicals of course it's going to burn, you need to be more careful around his eyes" I asked why they are even aloud to write "tear free" when it obviously isn't. All she said was, well what do you expect, it's made from chemicals. I referenced Johnson's and Johnson's that I have used on all my kids, it's tear free and has never caused a problem. Then she asked "we'll what do you want me to do about it?" I hung up at that point. The pics were taken after a half hour bath,it was an hour before he could actually open his eyes for more than a second without crying! Poor baby

ladies, just checking in. sorry I have been MIA. I've been crying, not eating, and sleeping on and off for the past 24 hours so I've been really in the corner. I thought things with my DBF were going well...but this past week a bunch off things have come up and we're right now not sure what to do. there's even a chance of a breakup which is super scary considering we were thinking about getting engaged really soon. it's all just a blur right now and still sorting through it all. in any case, I'm sorry I can't be here very much....I'll check in tonight and try to catch up with the thread. sorry everyone. back to bed.

I can only use the physical sunscreens on Jackson, I am glad Aveeno has one now so it's easier to find. Anything else makes him BRIGHT red. They forget at daycare first time in the summer and he comes home with a red rash that takes days to clear up! He has very sensitive skin to pretty much everything.
