Serves me right to actually read the SC blog instead of just jumping right to this train... All the excitement over gifts but not being able to open them, has made me excited for new things... checked out the La Senza online sale and now $66.60 later I will soon be the proud owner of 3 bras, and 8 pairs of panties...
Hanging my head in shame...

I called in sick today so I could get everything with the car done, well sort of, and went to Walmart, bought a bunch of meat and veggies, some fruit for the kiddo too. So now I have to clean it all up and actually eat it. Hopefully I can stick to it! All this to say, I'll be joining you with the mega headache soon
I got home and there was an empty english muffin bag and empty pack of pill pockets (that I got yesterday for the dogs new supplements) on the floor. They had been on the counter. I guess Mr Joshua kitten knocked them on the floor and the puppy was hungry... the english muffin had been destined for the compost, it was a little green from being out for so long lol. Oh well... though how I'm supposed to give him the pills now I have no idea!! Those little things are kind of expensive, and the cat I have ones just won't hold the capsule. What a pair. I'm sure the other cat sat back and wached them do it too.
Got a new car seat, it was on rollback, and it has two cupholders! Perfect. It also goes higher with weight and height before converting to a booster. So it should last us until the boy is no longer in a seat at all. I was due to get him a new seat soon any way, so this was a good way to do it I guess. Got the estimate for the car and I'm sure glad I'm not paying for it, over $4k. That's before they open it up which may add on some more costs. Wow.
And no package for me today, at least I don't think so. Mail came to the community box already, no parcels. Maybe tomorrow!

Slam... for your clean eating routine, do you still eat natural sugars, ie. fruit? Or not even that? I really really need to get my butt in gear and do something.. we had professional staff photos done last Friday and I HATE HATE HATE every single one of me! All I see is double chin, chubby cheeks and rolls... Need to lose this extra 30lbs!

I'm sorry everyone for not being around to much on this thread. Moving blows! I'm sooo not organised. I know I just need to get rid of most of it, but a lot it is just so "cute" that I want to keep it.
Buddy, I believe you will get your package on Monday or Tuesday at the latest.

I was washing up the veggies from my organic box, and realized what I thought were funny looking beans are actually garlic scapes... yeah I have no idea what to do with those! beans I get, these things? Not so much!
I should probably have started this clean eating thing earlier in the week so the weekend won't be so crappy, I just hope I don't take it out on the kid! But yes, in the end I will feel lots better, and hopefully lose a bit of weight along the way. I limit fruit, I do have berries on occasion when I need something sweet, but since my weakness is salty crunch snacks, I don't use them often.
I also got some weird looking kale that is like all one leaf instead of little curly leaves, I don't think I can make chips out of it... Hmm.

Had to look up what Garlic Scapes are really they seem like a fake veggies, every site I went to said they are normally composed but are eatable. Good Luck Gwen doesn't look like much can be done with them, most popular seems to be adding them to a salad if they are baby garlic scapes.
