We had leftover pizza here and when my 5 year old told me it wasn't a balanced meal because she didn't have any fruits or vegetables, I added in a pack of fruit snacks... So beef jerky is an awesome breakfast... And the fruit flavoured Pez must have something like fruit in it right??

It's a good thing I bought two packs of flank steak for jerky, I just put the second one on to marinade, it will dry over night. We've eaten about 1/3 of the first batch already. It is so good and we are really meat eaters lol. I did manage to get him to eat some toast and PB, I had french toast, he didn't want any. I'm so glad I bought that dehydrator, and finally started using it! I need to dry some other things on it, maybe apples, or applesauce to make fruit leather things. Hmm. I'd like to try turkey jerky too, but turkey seems a bit pricey, perhaps around thanksgiving.
Gorgeous weather outside, we went for a walk, came home and he played in the front on his various bike/scooter things, my allergies started bugging me so we came in. Laundry is hanging to dry, I can only fit one load out there though so it's his since I don't want to hang my underwear for all to see. I do wish I could call nap time now though. I miss naps...

Hey Everyone! hope you all are having a great day and beautiful weather!
Day 6 for me was awesome eyeliner and eye shadow. Great wishlist items! I absoultely hate paying for make up so I'm super super happy!!!
Day 7 is a really cute necklace that I can wear to work since I'm trying to make a little effort to dress a little nicer as I am the first person people see when they walk in the builiding, lol.
thanks so much Kate!!! Gifts are getting better and better, lol. Love it all!

so, quick question: I'm heading out on vacation for a week beginning tomorrow and was wondering if I should open my gifts for the week before I go or wait until I get back.

So I have a little bit of a problem...
My Lovely son decided to take it upon himself to help me out and open my gifts. He ripped every single tag off. I have no idea which present I am supposed top open on which day now
He manged to tear some paper open too.. BUT I didn't peek! I swear!
I actually asked my older kids to stuff them into their closets so I couldn't look at them
So here is what I think is day 7 pressie for me. I tried matching the ripped tags to anything that was left taped to my gifts LOL
Chy got a beautiful and very nice smelling bath and body lotion set. Seriously it smells so good!
I got some awesome Jamie Oliver MAGNETIC measuring spoons! These are freaking awesome!! I told my kids they are definately NOT allowed to touch these, ha!
