LTUC.. the dang bang was right outside the patio door.. if he wanted to he could have come in and sat at the dining room table.. scared the bejeezies out of me.. but he was determine.. how he smelt it through the bag.. picked at it until he had it outside and then yanked like 3 times. he was not leavin without it.. LOL. i wish i had a camera.

Thank goodness, I do - since I'm not working, I can catch an hour or two in the afternoon.
Still and all, I'd rather sleep five hours straight at night!

Hot day again here, too - tomorrow will be only low 20s, though, so that's good.

Good at least you get some through out the day! Yes getting it together would be best.

Went by DD's school but no class list was up. I was hoping they still did that. Like they post the class lists on the main doors so you can see which teacher you have and who is in your class, etc. I know DD's teacher but was wanting to know how many will be in her class. I'd like to give a little first day of school treat to the kids, since I'm doing one for the teacher.

Anyway, do they still put up lists? Or does it depend on the school?

Hi lola..Don't know about all schools, but I know that for my kids school no list is posted prior to the first day of school. You have to gather by grade on the first day back and the teachers who will be teaching those grades will call out the student names by the grades.

Wow 2 more weeks and then Summer will be over...I can't believe how the time is just flying by...
Will be a busy 2 weeks for me, lots going on...plus I have to get back to school ready too. Again I say where oh where did the Summer go?

Oh, I'd hate that. Hopefully that's not the way it is here. lol. No time to prepare. I'm a big planner and I'm pretty sure DD is too. I always liked knowing exactly what I was walking into the first day. lol.

Glasses frames broke again this morning, have re-glued.

Called for an optometrist appointment this morning - soonest time in is a cancellation Aug. 28; if it hadn't been for that, it would have been the end of Sept.
Well, I was hoping for sooner, because it still takes a while after that to get glasses back once ordered (no one-hour for me!).

I suppose I can start frames shopping... which I really, really dread.
It's not just that I am fluffy, I have a big head anyways (thanks dad, and my son says thanks too, gah!).
Plus, I'm sensitive to metals.
This pair I have turned green in any places it touched skin just a week after I got them. I had to get soft plastic tubing that gets shrunk to fit over the arms by my ears, or I had green skin. So the frames are a kind of antiquey gold and went well with the greenish hue that looks like weathered patina, lol!

I know there are tons of cute frames, but most I can't get because they don't come in the width I need (doubt that's changed since last time I got glasses) and, as well, most frames now are so small in shape, just in general.

LOL, I just did some googling and there are Fatheadz Eyeglasses... well, if the shoe fits...
Well, I won't know til I go!
