With the sun that is and the heat it brings currently drawing out blue prints for the rocket i am going to build that will carry me up to that sun so i can lay a severe butt kicking on it!..In all seriousness I HATE THIS HEAT!! makes me all hot,sweaty and cranky..

If you hear a story in the news about a half naked women trying to launch herself off her apartment building.Straddling a rocket constructed out of cardboard and toilet paper rolls that was me..be proud!

Winter in Winterpeg is worse ! trust me you will be begging for summer , when the winter starts over there.

What I like about summer is that you can just get up and go ..unlike winter when you have to wear layerr, gloves , jacket , boots etc etc

At least in Winter you can put more clothes on, add another layer, pile on more blankets. In horrendous heat what are you to do? You can only get SO naked...and trust me, no one wants to see me take off any more clothes! Ughhhhh *shudder*

Oh I completely agree. I actually love winter and cold.

When it's hot like this, I can't sleep at night, which makes me tired during the day, and the heat makes me extra tired, which leads to headaches.
And as far as wardrobe goes, I hate having to pick out clothes that A) keep me cool and B) won't show sweat!

I'm one of those people that won't sweat as long as they're moving, but as soon as I stop I'm drenched. And I always wear sunscreen on my face when I go out, so instead of the sweat sort of sticking to my skin, it just pours down my face and it's gross. I hate being hot and sweaty.

Anyways, I'm with you! The only thing heat is good for is a dip in the pool!

Luckily for me , most places I go to have AC ..plus I drink lots of water..not due to the heat , but I just have a habit of doing that for some reason

Usually when I go outdoors , I go out in the evening , when the sun is down.

I love summer BBQ's , Patios , flip flops , beaches, parks , cottages etc

Wear some nice hats/caps , shades , sunscreen , light coloured clothing , drink plenty of water & you should be fine

I love the heat and sunshine. I'm already planning a great escape for the winter...and Toronto doesn't even have bad winters. I'm tired of darkness at 4 p.m. I don't know how you people in Winterpeg do it. I couldn't even handle Ottawa winters which are lame in comparison lol

Makayla, I sure hear you on the not being able to sleep when it is like this, I get a tad " irritable " so I am so thankful for the A/C.
When this heat wave is gone and the chillier temps arrive I am loving that! ( but no white stuff, that they can keep! )

Fall is probably the best ..no rain , no snow , neither too hot or too cold

I also like spring ..expect for the rain part ..but love the flowers and and other nature stuff blooming

I hear you. And I am going through pre-post or full menaupause so anyone who does not understand...this summer and add another furnace and crank it up to the max too and all this is heating up one place!!! AND

While everyone is cozy in their coats shopping in the cold, I am sweating in stores, no coat on,,,yup - yuk....
