IF they are operating a business, and are not licensed to do so, do not keep proper business records for filing Taxes etc, then they are in deep doodoo if the local authorities, the City, and Revenue Canada find out about their business.
They are not simply selling their used personal items, they are purchasing and reselling for the sole purpose of running a business and making a profit from those sales. In 2020 I had 100 FREE Grocery pickups! Subscribe to PC Optimum Insiders & get 25,000 PC Optimum pts

I had to laugh at their name. Not really less than retail. Most of these are pennies under retail or the same price.
I saw that someone posted this comment: Interested, but before I buy I'd like to know...did these things fall off the back of a truck?

I would write on their page "wow you people must steal alot of coupons to get so many of these products so cheap. Don't be fooled, i can teach all of how to coupon and get these products for even less than what these people are selling them for" "message me now, before you get ripped off again!!"

I think it is unwise to pick a fight with anyone.
But remember, taking coupons from a tearpad is not stealing. You're taking free pieces of paper that only have value if you buy the product.
EDIT: Clarifying so I don't get nasty flames which tend to happen on this forum. I don't agree with clearing off tearpads. Ethically and morally it may not be right, but I think it is legal.
Also, it's just an assumption that these people acquired their products through couponing. They could've come from anywhere. Who knows.Last edited by torontogal12; Mon, Oct 7th, 2013 at 12:45 PM.

I randomly came across that video and I couldn't believe my eyes! Seriously people that is not what coupons are supposed to be used for! I'm all for congratulating people who have stockpiles used to provide for their families, other families or donate but this doesn't sit well with me. Soon enough the coupons will change wording or legislation will come along that prevents them from selling the items they buy.

I just unscrewed it with my fingers... But i don't think they were on very tight (it might vary store to store on how tight they are)
P.S i got a good laugh out of imagining someone at RCSS, toolbox in hand ready to collect their coupons!
I can only imagine the looks you would get!

They are selling GLADE fresheners for $1? I can get those for a buck any day at No Frills or Walmart! I just looked at a dozen or so postings, but ALL of their stuff is wildly overpriced! Why would anyone buy that when you could get it brand new from a store for the same price?

I sense a tone. Is that really necessary? Did I say something rude or accusatory?
There's only ever one explanation for everything in life, right?
No one can win a contest?
No one can receive gifts?
No one can shoplift?
No one can acquire products through alternate means?
FYI I am not accusing these people of anything. Just explaining that there's more than one way to acquire merchandise and we have no idea how they got theirs.

I am a happier person I found when I keep to myself and mind my own affairs. No ones perfect

I am pleased people are revolting against this. I'm considering making a facebook alias just to make a point of communicating my feelings about this to coupon creeps who do this.
The only way to change things is to become a pest and make it uncomfortable for them. No one should profit from abusing things like this.
