Early Administrative Professionals Day gifts
I wanted to thank the secretarial/administrative professionals from my old job and the amazing ones I met in my new job. But that would be a little expensive. Target and Food Basics to the rescue.

Transaction#1~ Food Basics (8 AM today):
4” potted Spring bulbs, regular $1.99, sale $0.99
Bought purple crocus and purple hyacinth bulbs

Transaction#2 ~Target (after Christmas buy):
Nivea lotion and body wash, [gift set = regular $16.99 (?), clearance $6.99, divided the items, so ~$1.50/person]
Gift bags, regular $1.99 (?), sale $0.29
Tissue paper, regular $1.99 (?), sale $0.49/5 sheets
Thank you cards, regular $4.99 (?), sale $1.00/10 pack

Out of pocket, including tax = $3.37/person for
one plant + 1 Nivea item + 1 card, in a gift bag with tissue paper.

Gift was only one month early. Administrative Professionals Day* is Wednesday, April 23.
The bulbs can be put in the garden after May 2-4 weekend for more plants in 2015.

Target's after Christmas sale at 90% off has given us a nice stockpile for gifts. So now, when something comes up that we were not prepared for, it's easy and inexpensive.
