The first thing I remember about changing is when I started to travel. Before, I used to be SO picky about my eating habits. When I traveled, I didn't have a choice (either because I was low on money, or because I was being polite). In the end, I realized my taste buds changed. What I didn't like, I now did (ex. seafood, onions).I still haven't tried KD though

I have changed tremendously and it all started when I was about 19. If I could go back and tell my younger self anything it's that I should have changed even sooner

How TRUE, Patty....I was a chronic worrier! Life taught me that just about everything I ever worried and stressed about never happened.
Now, although not totally cured, I can relax more about what might BE, concentrate on enjoying what IS and forget about what WAS.Last edited by Lynn49; Thu, Apr 17th, 2014 at 10:21 AM.

my life changed for the better once i hit my 50's
learning to play office politics
knowing that i'm not above the law
and being nice to everyone at work
no more dating/sex
leading a simple life of celibacy
not telling my tales of woes
to my sister who shares nothing in return
making my own decisions
and not soliciting advice/opinions from others
not worrying anymore
and just crossing that bridge when i come to it.You can't change other people. You can only change yourself"

I have changed careers.
I am mellower to those who count.
I am easier on myself.
I am more loving as a wife, mother, auntie, cousin, sister and daughter.
I can "let go"; I have learned to either change what I dont like or accept the things I cannot change.
I am more outspoken when I feel its necessary to speak up.
I've grown up!!!!!The average dog
is nicer
than the average person.
