Yesterday was Pie Day on the Smart Canucks frontier,
Meeting with some Smart Canucks; can you say pizza pie & beer?
Though some friends dwell in the Big Smoke, Sparty did some invitin’
So they all came out to Pickering, where life is more excitin’
Hicks picked me up in style in her very dreamy set of wheels,
Karl was there to greet us & encouraged that we kick up our heels,
Rockit soon joined us at our table, reserved for the Smartest Canucks,
Mechman was on his best behavior – bet you’re thinking aw-shucks!
Our Jester friend sat right beside me what a lucky girl was I?
Berndawg came in with a smile & I didn’t find him to be shy,
Cathy our dear sweet Sparty friend is so personable & warm,
& Evelyn our animal loving friend also joined our dorm,
I didn’t find Knottythots to be naughty in the least,
& Romeo even came along to make for a perfect feast,
You know I once talked about sitting at a table with my SC friends,
Where we all could ramble & talk about odds & ends,
Well, it came together nicely & I must say with gratitude,
That “Smart Canucks do Pickering” did surely put me in the mood,
Thank you to our little group it was so much delightful fun,
An afternoon that indubitably, we will have to do again.

I have no idea why you say you don't feel you've been looking very nice - I'd say and I'm being very honest that you have looked Very Nice indeed the last two times I've been lucky enough to spend some time with you! Oh my gosh, what a awesome surprise to see all the beautiful pictures! Someone please tell me who is who so I can put a face to a name. It is absolutely delightful to meet fellow Sc'rs and I wish I lived closer (guessing thats why this is a club southern LOL). I hope you don't mind me popping in here as we know I live out west. I love the friendly chat in here and everyone's posts bring a smile to my face.

Hicks, that puppy of yours is ADORABLE. I would have a hard time not spoiling him .

DH and I have had the enjoyment of dealing with colds this weekend and I am happy (more like thankful) that we have managed to get through it without a divorse LOL. Cranky hubby and cranky wife....the kids made sure they were out most of the weekend needless to say .
I am still waiting for my next visit with Abby however, they sent me a picture of her Sunday bonnet and thought I would share. I didn't know if I should laugh or cry at this photo, she was just to cute. She looks like a wee bug with those big eyes.

We do have fun in here. We all kinda grew up listening to Q107. Some of us have yet to complete the process of growing up, but we like it that way.

It's nice to have you here. We are indeed a chatty bunch.

all joking aside there is a white kitty at the H.S. who was found on the streets in the wintertime, he's been kept warm and fed but he's starting to get depressed (who wouldn't????) I'm so hoping and wishing he'd get a home - I DO NOT want to see him there when I go in on Wednesday - please say a prayer for him (His name is Ol Blue)

This disturbs the hell out of me!!!! What right do they have to say that!!! You A holes!!!! duh!!!! oh yeah they just love lying there like that and never moving an inch .................Would love to put one of you in a stall like that!!!! Uncaring .............damn them all to a life like that!!! Sorry, for the image if it gets to anyone like it gets to me, can't stand the thought of animals living like that.......really.... if I was granted a wish it would be to stop all the suffering........I mean it......but I fear it will never stop - at least not in my lifetime...........I don't think anyone can imagine the suffering they must go through - no, I could never enjoy a meal made out of something that has gone though that much suffering.......no way.....
